OLAPLEX earns polarized reviews: many report visibly stronger, smoother, shinier hair—especially with No.3 Hair Perfector, No.6 Bond Smoother, No.7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo—while others experience dryness, heaviness, greasiness, or no lasting improvement. Reviews suggest it can work brilliantly for bleached/blonde or damaged hair but may weigh down fine hair and effects may fade without consistent use; some users also mention fragrance concerns and allegations of hair loss or irritation.

I honestly am not sure about this brand. I have used many of their items. I think they are very good. I have super curly hair, so it's hard to notice a difference in things like shine, softness, etc. But, I will say that it definitely helped with my frizz!
First of all ,I have dried damaged hair. When this product was recommended to me I doubted it that it would help my frizzy damaged hair but I was wrong. This smells amazing and literally helped my hair ,as a person who dyes her hair more than twice a year .I would highly recommend this if you want to balance caring your hair and dying your hair whatever you want.
I have taken red out my hair twice, yes my hair is crying but Olaplex really helped! I love their purple conditioner because I can get the brass out without drying out my hair.
I think I’m going to have to burst someone’s bubble here, I’m not sold. I’ve tried the shampoo, conditioner, oils, treatments etc… I have natural curly hair and it just isn’t worth the money for me. I wish it was!
I fell victim to the trend. I have somewhat frizzy dry hair and got the hair perfector since everyone was loving it. I’d use it and saw absolutely no difference and had the same experience as another family member. Perhaps since we don’t use heat styling very often it didn’t have many bonds to repair. Won’t repurchase or recommend personally.

I have fine hair and enjoy changing up the color. I tried out the shampoo and conditioner (#4 and #5) to help with the damage from the color process, and didn’t feel like it did anything above or beyond what a typical shampoo or conditioner would do. It also left my hair feeling greasy and was probably just too thick for my texture. I also wasn’t a big fan of the scent, so I won’t be repurchasing.
I’ve used many of the products. I like the mask and hair perfector. The shampoo and conditioner are fine, nothing amazing. I am just nervous because I hear they are potentially too high in protein for one’s hair.
If you had a bad hair dye job, Olaplex products fix the texture/feeling of your hair! Highly recommended!
Super expensive and I’ve never really noticed a difference. Bleached hair still became super brittle , even under directions by hair stylist
When I had bleached hair, I used the hair bond protector to save my damaged hair. It was pricey, but worth to save my hair health.
Smells incredible, easy to use. First use made my hair softer and shinier, but repeated weekly or 2x/month use makes my hair slightly greasy. Recommend for super damaged hair, but not good for normal hair.
Their hair masks are amazing! It saved my hair
The best hair oil I have ever used.
great for curly hair
Great products. My hair thanks you. Does what is claimed.
I tried the Olaplex bonding oil with the bond maintenance shampoo and conditioner. I have long curly hair that did not get any shiner, more hydrated, or softer. The website and hype around the brand gives the impression it’s for all hair types. Maybe I was not using enough for my hair. However for the price, I would expect a little to go a long way.
The hair oil is the only product of theirs that i've stuck to! It's great for dry hair
