OLAPLEX delivers noticeable repair and shine for many—especially bleached and color‑treated hair—with standouts like No. 3 Hair Perfector, No. 6 Bond Smoother, No. 7 Bonding Oil, and the 4P Purple Shampoo frequently praised in reviews. However, reviews also flag drawbacks: some experience dryness, heaviness or greasiness, residue, overly strong toning or staining from purple products, mixed or short‑lived results, and concerns about overuse or sensitivity, making OLAPLEX effective but not universally foolproof.

Not sure what all the hype is about. I was excited to try it as I’ve been concerned with my hair’s health lately and can only say it made my hair feel worse and thinner than when I started using it, not sure what’s up with that
No. 3 remains a game-changer in the hair world. A mere 2 hours and it totally transforms my hair, for a few days. I tried the in-salon treatments, but overall couldn't keep up with them (financially and time-wise), rendering the other products useless (I was told that you need the in-salon treatment in order for the other treatments to work, with the exception of No. 3).
I didn’t hate this product but I also didn’t love it. For context, I used it when my hair was very dry and brittle. I have 3c curls. Olaplex made my hair feel stronger but in the weeks after I noticed a lot of hair shed. I stopped using the product after this since I couldn’t identify another source. I think my hair would have fallen out from breakage so I can’t say this product was a detriment. If you have extremely weak hair, I’d use this one every couple of months in between protein treatments.

Not as amazed as I expected or as marketed.
I´ve tried the number 6 and 7 and honestly felt like it didn´t do much for my hair. The products are also a bit pricey.
I tried n. 3 and I don't understand the hype. I think it's overpriced for what it does. My MIL loves it and says it works wonders tho, 3 stars for that.
I love their products! They really helped my hair after I damaged it from dying. Olaplex is worth the money, they also last a while because a little amount goes a long way.

It's good for those with blond hair- I don't think it's necessary for those with brown hair even if it's highlighted.
Really wanted to love this but after hundreds of dollars to the brand I noticed no difference in my hair. I consulted many hairdressers on how to use it and they all said the formulation has changed and they no longer use it.
The No3 hair mask has saved my hair - highly recommend it!
Their products actually don’t work well for me but I like the smell.
When I was a loose natural, I used Olaplex products to strengthen my hair. My curls were popping when I would use the number 0 and 3 products. I didn’t benefit much from the shampoo and conditioner.

I do not know what the craze is. Don’t get me wrong the products work. I have #3 and I’ve also tried the oil. It just doesn’t give life ch aging results. The price point is too high. There are Korean brands that provide same or better results for half the price. Did not repurchase.
For the love of god, look into the lawsuits against them. Also, there are cheaper alternatives (one specifically that sells on Amazon) that are way better.
I can't imagine using any other hair care line. I love every product and it keeps my hair looking healthy even when I have to go a while between appointments. The Blonde Enhancing shampoo really works - I always get compliments on how bright and shiny my colored hair is after using it.

I do love Olaplex shampoo and conditioner! I have long, fine, virgin hair and this has worked well for me!
My hair stylist usually adds Olaplex when they bleach and it makes a world of difference! My hair is so silky soft — you would hardly guess it’s been double bleached at all.
Yes, Olaplex is the original bond repair. However, my hair always felt like straw afterwards. Tried newer bond repair products that I’ve switched over to. Sorry Olaplex.
Love Olaplex for reviving my color treated hair from the brink of death. 10/10!!!
This shampoo and conditioner are my favorite ones yet. I didn’t like them in the beginning, but as I continued they grew on me.
