Oatly impresses in reviews for café-worthy performance—its Barista Edition froths reliably and delivers a creamy, smooth texture that elevates coffee, matcha, and lattes—while dividing opinion over formulation. Fans praise the rich mouthfeel, neutral-to-oaty flavor, and versatility across baking, cereal, and smoothies; critics cite seed/rapeseed oils, gums/additives, sweetness, and occasional digestive upset as drawbacks. Overall, Oatly is considered a top-tasting, highly consistent oat milk for beverages, but less appealing to buyers prioritizing ultra‑clean ingredients.

  • I get no wanting to have dairy but this is a quick way to spike insulin and not really get any nutritional benefits.

  • The best dairy-alternative coffee supplement on the market. Oatly froths better than anything I tried and is not overly sweet.

  • The best oat milk you can get. This is a go-to and super convenient with grocery store availability.

  • I love oatly so much. I switched to making my own oatmilk last year, but if I'm ever in a pinch and need to buy milk, oatly is the go-to. never watery, never slimy, always super tasty

  • I absolutely love oatly!!! Unfortunately I can’t drink it anymore because I’m allergic to oats but I love their products!!

  • I love the Oatly original oat milk! I use it in lieu of dairy milk for basically anything and everything, but it's my favorite to have some in my morning coffee. It works really well for baking, too!

  • I love Oatly oat milk - the consistency works well with my coffee as well as oats! Tastes good too.

  • Great milk alternative & milk of choice for coffees. Simple clear branding, and accessible price point. highly rated

  • So good and great packaging, but more additives and sugar than they’d lead you to believe. Their ice cream is one of the worst offenders.

  • Worst watery sad excuse for an Oatmilk. Do not expect to use this in any form of coffee either !

  • It’s usually pretty watery and doesn’t have a white “milk” color like some others on the market but it is reliable and good in a latte. Don’t think you could use it for anything sides coffee, certainly wouldn’t want it for a bowl of cereal.

  • As I’m lactose intolerant I always am on the look for products like these. Taste is good but it’s more expensive than other equal products I find in stores

  • Best Oatmilk Period, make sure to get the full fat version for the most luxurious morning lattes ever. Almond who?

  • My favourite oat drink! What separates Oatly from all other oat milks on the market is how creamy and smooth it is. Sometimes you can tell that other brands have used more water and odd sweetener to imitate the natural sweetness and nuttiness that comes from oats. I also like that Oatly is a little thicker than most! I love that Oatly really lets the oats shine!

  • In terms of taste and texture, Oatly is the best non-dairy milk that I've tried. Specifically their dark blue, full fat milk. Baking, splashing in coffee, by itself, all wonderful. If there was a way to not use canola oil (which is maybe fine? I don't know? Can we get a strong, unwavering consensus?), I'd be over the moon. But I'll take what I can get.

  • Just tried Oatly Organic Oat Milk. It's delicious and no added sugars or weird fillers
