Nori earns largely positive reviews for delivering effective, travel-friendly garment care—its fabric shaver revives sweaters and upholstery quickly and gently, while the Nori Press simplifies touch-ups without an ironing board. Reviews also flag drawbacks: the press feels heavy and awkward to clamp, its small water reservoir empties fast and struggles on heavy wrinkles, and the shaver’s magnetic cap can loosen and, with careless use, snag fabric.

I loved the packaging and branding when I received it. After using it for about a year, I can say I prefer a traditional iron or steamer. The Nori is better for women's clothing articles in my opinion. It's bulkier than I expected and not as easy to travel with as I thought when I purchased it. My hand starts cramping and often can't use it for more than one piece of clothing at a time. I prefer slimmer steamer for travel and a traditional ironing option at home. It's great in theory, but doesn't provide the expected value.
I love this. It works really well. I'm so glad I purchased it. It's very easy to use. I will say it's a tad bulkier than I pictured. It doesn't replace an iron for me for everything. There are some things were I just get a crisper look from an iron. But overall love.

I love the concept- design and packaging are great and it's straightforward. Unfortunately the execution is off- it really only works with things on a hanger and most of my garments kept sliding off as I tried to use. It was hard to get enough traction for it to really work. If you already have an iron and a steamer and don't mind the cost it's worthwhile but invest in one of those first before this device.
Loved this ! It is so nice not to have to pull out the old ironing board . I use a streamer a lot but you can’t get a nice crease like you can with this. It worked really well on my curtains too.
I have used this several times on different fabrics and in different situations and have been so impressed with the way it performs. The battery life is great and it was thorough in depilling while not damaging the fabric. Highly recommend

This was great! I've never used a shaver before but it worked perfectly on some furniture as well as some sweaters. No complaints and a good price point I think.

I purchased a nori myself and the only improvement I would make is that I have very small hands and therefore it can be difficult for me to actually clamp the nori on my clothing. It works well with the exception of ironing HEAVILY wrinkled linen items. This is more for a touch-up and not for a wrinkled mess of a garment.
I bought the Nori Shaver from Thingdrop months ago and waited to write a review until after using it extensively during winter. It's been fantastic, consistently effective on depilling both new and vintage fabrics, basically extending their lifespan. I definitely would recommend this product for anyone looking to keep their knitted or textured clothing/fabrics items looking great year after year.

I love the Nori fabric shaver! It’s brought the life back to so many vintage sweaters. It trims the perfect amount so it doesn’t damage your sweater but removes the pills and lint!

With the Nori Shaver I was able to shave about 4-5 items in the time I could shave about one with my Conair fabric shaver. Personally, I don’t think I would have purchased it without the Thingdrop discount, but man I’m glad that I have it.

Love this brand & its mission. I have both the nori press and trim. They are both good but I find them difficult to use to get the results I was expecting

The Nori is such a useful handheld iron! I’ve had it for about a year and a half and take it on all my trips. I especially love it for button-down and collared shirts!

As a new mom, I am always looking for shortcuts and hacks to make my life easier. Not only can I use this with one-hand (essential for holding my newborn with the other), it actually gets the job done with one press. It also travels easily and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I also love the chic design.

I couldn't be happier with this product! My Nori is easy to use, convenient to travel with, and a time saver. Instead of having to worry about using a clunky iron or a finicky steamer, the Nori allows for both options right at your hands. I highly recommend this product to anyone and couldn't rave about it more!

I really love my Nori!! I was gifted it as a college graduation gift and it's been so helpful with ironing my clothes that come out all wrinkly from the laundry. I use it all the time to quickly iron my clothes before work, dinners, and going out. Highly recommend as a great grad gift!!

I love Nori! I bought my Nori when my work travel started picking up again, and it worked incredibly well on all my wrinkled business clothes from my suitcase. I used to default to the hotel's iron, but the Nori fabric settings protect my more delicate garments from the heat. I bring it on all my personal vacations now, too - it makes my clothes look like I picked them up from the dry cleaners!

Giant, unwieldy, and awkward to use. But none of this would have been an issue had the customer service experience not been so terrible. It's fine that a product may not work out, but let me tell you, the return experience is enough for me to warn anyone off of buying from their website in order to try the press out. Even if you return the press and associated products early within the window, carefully repackaged and in excellent condition, Nori Press will charge you hidden and inflated return costs - about 7% of the entire purchase cost. It's unconscionable, bad customer service, and not worth the risk of figuring out whether you want to wrangle this giant, uncomfortable-to-hold, glorified hair straightener around your clothing. (And as a warning: it will take up a ridiculous amount of space in your luggage should you be planning to travel with this heavy, weird thing.) Do not recommend - do not bother trying it out, it's not worth it since you can't return it for a full refund.

This iron has changed my life! I seriously don't know what I ever did before the Nori existed. It is especially perfect for travel and getting ready for work post-workout class. I now am also obsessed with their sweater trimmer and use it every day! SO worth the purchase and cannot recommend enough!

Perfect for travel and for when you need a quick refresh but don’t want to pull out the ironing board. Love the packaging and its multiple colors make it my go to gift!
