Narra Reviews

4.2

Narra reviews assert the brand works as a creamy, plant-based oat milk latte alternative that delivers gentle caffeine and appealing packaging; strengths include balanced flavors and texture, while weaknesses include an inconsistent matcha flavor, monk fruit aftertaste, and occasional murky texture and musty notes. This helps buyers who want a low-caffeine, dairy-free ready-to-drink latte decide whether to try Narra’s flavors (noting flavor-specific hits and misses).

  • Would love to preface that I love supporting brands in the same vertical as Narra who are a healthier choice with no added sugar, zero artificial ingredients and is lactose free in comparison to American brands, which have been around longer however this was a very disappointing experience. If you are sensitive to artificial sweeteners such as monk fruit, it will be really hard to get past this bad aftertaste. When I first poured a can of the Strawberry Matcha Latte into a cup, the first thing I noticed which was super off if you're a matcha connoisseur-the murky color. I get that you're combining oat milk, strawberry, and matcha together, but it doesn't have that delightful green that matcha entails. Even though monk fruit is the last ingredient on the nutrition label, it ended up overpowering the remainder of the ingredients in this drink and honestly holding a magnifying glass closer, their website does not have any transparency as to what is in the drink...which is very suss. I actually had to do a Google image for their nutritional label, after I threw the can away and began to scratch my head as to why a natural and authentic brand like Narra has to use both monk fruit and sugarcane as "natural" sweeteners in all their drinks-why not honey instead? At ~$5/can, I would prefer to either support my local small business cafe or make my own matcha latte.

  • I am so bummed that I can't recommend this. I tried the variety pack, getting to test each flavor. My favorite part upon receiving was the packaging- it is colorful and I literally gasped when we opened up the box. They did such a great job with that! However, when it came down to taste, it wasn't my vibe. Other people seem to like the flavor, so do take my comments with a grain of salt. They use Monk Fruit Sweetener- historically, with other items, this can be a hit or miss for me. With this product, the drink is so sickly sweet and has a syrup-like that I couldn't even finish half of it. My husband, who likes things on the sweeter side, didn't seem to be bothered. The one that I liked the most was Oolong - to me, this is the most unique one because there aren't a lot of Oolong lattes on the market right now. But still, I wouldn't purchase this one because of the taste. If they reworked the formula in any way, I'd 100% try again! Yes, it is pricey at $5 a can- however, so was Olipop and other new drinks to the market. As they encounter more success, and get into stores, that price tends to go down. If I liked the taste, I'd keep on purchasing to support and get it out there.

  • Good drinks, with various taste, but pricy.
