Reviews mention

  • Clear high-quality video
  • Dependable live streaming
  • Intuitive mobile app
  • Convenient travel portability
  • Expensive gated subscription
  • Draining smartphone battery
  • Intermittent connection reliability
  • Uncomfortable breathing fabric

Nanit reviews assert the brand works: users praise clear video, reliable live streaming, and thoughtful features but many object to gated subscription features after the first year and occasional connectivity or false-alarm issues. Buyers who prioritize image quality, travel convenience, and sleep tracking find it compelling; those who dislike recurring feature paywalls, app battery drain, and unreliable connections should weigh trade-offs before buying.

  • LOVE this video monitor. We have the Nanit Pro Smart Baby Monitor & Floor Stand and absolutely love it. We haven't explored some of the additional features, like the smart sheets, etc., but the camera alone is pretty high quality. It's hard to regulate the temperature of the room that we have our newborn in, and I love that we get notifications when the temperature & humidity go outside the range that we set.

  • We absolutely love our Nanit cameras. They have clear images and sound, I love that you can connect over WiFi, and have cool features like a nightlight and speaker. The app has continued to improve as well- I love being able to see a split screen to view multiple children. My only complaint is about the paid subscription- I wish these were included with the camera. It’s not something I’m willing to pay for

  • We LOVE our Nanit and have used it for 3 years with our daughter and so far 1.5 years with our son. My only complaint is the subscription price that you pay for “Nanit insights” which we only use to just get an idea of how many hours they are sleeping. I wish there was a very basic subscription thst was cheaper that just gives very basic info about their sleeping habits but without all the sleep tips, analyzing, etc.

  • The app is good but it drainsy battery at warp speed. Regular monitors don't do that. If you have an emergency or want to be away from a charger for an hour, your phone is dead! I think there are way better options out there that are less stressful.

I wouldn't recommend because I think there are less stressful options available. Battery life is important, especially since there are less landlines now adays. It's a miss for me.
