    I bought a small bag from Target, figuring I will try it out since I like Chai and Cocoa flavors. I was severely disappointed. The instructions say to add a tablespoon to a coffee mug size essentially. I did and added some hot milk. It tasted like I was drinking pure hot water. Almost zero flavor. I added a 2nd tablespoon to the cup. AGAIN. ZERO flavor. If you handed it to me and told me i was just drinking hot water I would've believed you. Not sure if they need better flavors or stronger flavors or better proportions but this one just doesn't hit for me. While I was pouring it down the drain, I stopped before the bottom of the cup figuring maybe all the flavor settled at the bottom. Nope. Still tasted like water.

    I've used MUD/WTR for about 3 months, not in a daily ritual but in a several times a week ritual. I've come to appreciate it over time but I do think the 'brain benefits' are oversold. Rather, what I love is it's a gentle wake me up boost. Only 40mg of caffeine (IIRC) helps get me going without having me wired. I like it as a first thing in the morning caffeine starter before breakfast followed by a proper coffee later. The taste is definitely acquired - honey does help - but it's better than simply palatable (especially if you're already accustom to straight coffee).

    The product itself isn’t too bad . I just suggested you DO NOT BUY FROM THE WEBSITE!!!! Especially if you just want to try it . They advertised this big promotion with a tin and frother. For $60 CAD I thought the deal isn’t too bad . Come to find out you pay 10 dollars for a membership fee … what is this membership you may ask ? Cause they definitely won’t make it clear that “membership” isn’t for the wellness app and community. It’s for 4 weeks later when they take $70 CAD out of your back account with no warning and send you just a tin..$70 CAD for 150g of product is Robery if you ask me .

    I absolutely love mudwtr. I’m on my third tin of the OG. It definitely has abit of an earthy taste but I really enjoy it. I have to have it with some milk otherwise it’s too bitter. Secondly you absolutely have to use a frother. Don’t even attempt to drink it without using one. I also just got the pumpkin spice latte (as shown in the photos) and it’s delicious! Very strong on the pumpkin spice flavour and just the right sweetness. I frothed it with mainly hot water and just a splash of milk. One thing to note it I use a white ember mug and it stains it bright yellow…so I can only imagine what it’s doing to my teeth. So if you drink a lot of it I suggest the occasional teeth whitening strip to counter to staining it must be doing. Overall I really like the products I try and will continue to purchase.
