Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

Bought this when they used to only sell it on their website and thought it was not that great. The price point is way too high for cereal.

Just not worth the money.
was disappointed with the taste but still not bad

taste
The protein is great but the texture and fake sugar left such a weird film on my teeth/mouth that kind of ruined the experience.
Feedback
Texture and fake sweet flavor. I also felt like they all tasted pretty similar and could use stronger flavors.
The girls who I babysit love this cereal. I don't know if it really is that much healthier than other cereals marketed towards children but it definitely tastes much less sugary

pretty yummy - got it for my gluten free family as a surprise and we all loved it even my sister and grandma (both of whom are very picky)! cool packaging and felt nicer than just grabbing the cheapest box of gf cereal off the shelf

nothing i can think of for improvements, a solid good-tasting cereal
i had high hopes but this was not good
Better healthy alternatives

Very artificial tasting, and expensive! Cute branding though.

I love the concept and want the brand to succeed but the products need to taste better and cost less.

I wanted to like this brand. I really did. actually I still do - but only their branding. (whoever’s the creative director behind the brand - genius.) the product itself though - it doesn’t meet all the marketing claims and hype around it. love that it’s a healthier, low- carb, sugar-free alternative to standard cereal! they got really creative with their flavors too, but they can’t really replace the originals. some of the flavors left a weird aftertaste too and the texture of the cereal was a bit off too.
Feedback
pricey for cereal. taste and texture was also a bit off. branding is perfect and creative though!
The flavors are spot on and taste like childhood. The only thing I can’t get past is the texture. It’s good at first, but then every bite will get super sticky and stick to my teeth as I’m chewing and I just couldn’t get over the texture.

The cereal tastes great. Love the variety of flavors that have.

They don’t taste like their less healthy counter parts too much, which I’m okay with.
I bought a large order because these were highly recommended and I wanted to try a lot of flavors, but I didn't really like them. They have a very strong sugar substitute flavor (maybe aspartame) which I have an aversion to. If you don't mind that flavor, you may really like these products.
The cereal is tasty, but it gets stuck in my teeth.

Is there a way to reduce the gumminess once it gets wet?
I was really excited for this product as I am always looking for low to no sugar products, especially the products that I used to love with sugar in them. Magic Spoon seemed to fit the bill and I was really pleased with my purchase. I got the Peanut Butter flavor and it was pretty spot on. I would love to try more flavors and definitely will buy this product again.
Feedback
I did think that it was fairly high priced but you do get what you pay for as it does taste good (as far as the Peanut Butter flavor is concerned) and it is fairly healthy for the most part.

Love the ingredients for low carb diet. Texture is a bit dry. From someone that doesn’t eat grains and very limited sugar it provides a nice sweet treat.

I really just think magic spoon missed the mark with their cereal. I have tried hundreds of healthy alternative type foods and snacks, so I’m no stranger to the odd textures or tastes that sometimes accompany healthier substitutes. But for some reason I just can’t stand any magic spoon!

Stronger flavors.

Pretty disappointing and flavorless, but I will say the packaging and design is nice which might be what made me hopeful.
The taste is great, especially the peanut butter, but the texture is off if you are truly looking for a cereal replacement. Also, if you have any issues digesting dairy, I would not recommend this. The price point is also very high in my opinion for the amount you get.
Feedback
Larger boxes, better chocolate flavor.
Magic spoon is cute looking and fun, but the cereal itself is really odd. It has a very artificial flavor, with an obvious fake sugar taste as well. Additionally, when I’ve had it dry as a snack, it sticks in my teeth in a really unpleasant way. I’ve never bought this product, it’s available at my office so I can’t speak to delivery or customer service. I avoid this at work except when we’re running low on everything else.

The flavor and texture could use improvement.
I know that this is supposed to be healthier for you but i couldn't get past the chalky flavor. Texture was okay though, just like any other cereal.

Could work on the flavors a bit.
