Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

It just… doesn’t taste good. I tried this product after so many of the podcasts I listen to recommended it, and all I have to say is they must get paid a lot to do ads for it.

Make it taste good
Love this cereal! My only issue is that sometimes I can't get the flavor I want. Super yummy.

More availability in grocery stores
Delicious, it's crunchy but almost has a sticky mouthfeel as you chew.

Price...but to be fair you're paying a premium for a better macro profile
Love the flavors! A little bit pricer, but for a quality product it makes sense! Unique flavors and packaging!

I like the idea of the cereal and the taste is pretty good, I just can't justify spending that much on a breakfast cereal.
Was convinced by influencers to buy, but really did not like the taste. Will not repurchase.
Appreciate the healthiness - but can definitely taste the artificial sweetener

The first time I ate this I felt like it would be a great replacement for the classic sugary cereals we had as kids. However I definitely get the coating in the mouth from eating a full bowl and after a while the texture feels a little chalky. Will est in a pinch where I’m craving cereal but there may be some better options

Was not at all into the taste and flavor. Considering taste is always subjective, it might just be me…
Tastes great. It's nice to eat a cereal with high protein so you don't get hungry an hour or two later.

I purchased these online direct from their site. Packing is fun and awesome but it was just ok. I did not purchase again. It didn't live up to the nostalgic kids cereal flavors I was hoping for

Taste of product was not good enough for me to re-purchase. I wanted a more familiar cereal flavor
I really like the abundance of flavors and the nutritional value.

I wish the brand would explore making some or all flavors without chicory root. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sensitive to chicory root and haven't been able to enjoy this cereal as much as I'd like as a result.
I like the idea of a high protein crunchy sweet snack and I buy this cereal. I like it, but if it weren't "healthy" I'm not sure I would love the texture.

I don't love that it's made with whey.
Just isn’t the same. I feel it tasted very cardboard like and left a bad after taste.

It is quite tasty and scratches the itch without feelings of guilt

The price point is a little steep, even relative to breakfast cereal. It isn’t an every weekday breakfast, it’s a treat.
Tasty, but tastes clearly "healthy." Not an issue, but don't expect it to taste like delicious sugary childhood cereals. Would absolutely eat again, though.

Lower price
Yummy packed with protein and arrived so quickly!! I got the variety pack!
Feedback
Price is a bud steep, but the ingredients are high quality so it makes up for it!!
Enjoyed it a lot. Looks and tastes like the unhealthy version without the sugar. Chocolate was the best.

Mix of peanut butter and chocolate
Completely inedible. I was really hoping this would be delicious, especially as a self-proclaimed cereal addict, but the fake sweetener makes it taste like chemicals.
As someone who tries to eat low carb and low sugar but also likes to enjoy delicious snacks and foods, I found Magic Spoon to be a great alternative for the common sugary cereals that you find on grocery store shelves. I think that they do a great job of providing a vast range of flavors that can cater to people that like cereal of any kind.

The only thing that I think can use improvement is lowering the cost of each box to make it more affordable for consumers. Sometimes what makes it harder for people to choose the healthier alternative to things is cost, forcing them to buy the unhealthy alternative simply because it only costs a few dollars compared to a box of Magic Spoon.
