Magic Spoon largely satisfies those seeking a healthier, high‑protein, low‑sugar riff on nostalgic cereals, according to reviews, but it is not universally loved. Reviewers praise its 13g protein per serving, gluten‑free/grain‑free formulas, fun flavors like Fruity, Cocoa, Cinnamon Roll, and Maple Waffle, and cheerful packaging; common complaints cite an artificial or stevia/monk‑fruit aftertaste, gummy texture that sticks to teeth, flavor inconsistency (especially some chocolate/peanut butter variants), limited satiety for some, and very small, pricey boxes.

I wish I liked it! But it tastes like cardboard that’s been sprayed with Froot-Loops air. And really expensive.
Not a great flavor

Purchased for the look and instagram ads. Taste did not live up to expectations and was very stevia or sugar-supplement forward. I'd rather opt for a protein powder smoothie.
gross product...why would you want to eat a cereal made out of dairy. The employees are super unprofessional as well

I tried the individual serving sizes with several flavors. My favorite was the fruity one. It’s a good high protein low sugar cereal but it’s quite expensive and doesn’t last more than 4 days in my house. I wish it was priced a little lower and I would definitely repurchase and recommend.

The fruit flavor is ridiculously good! Growing up on cereal as a child, I crave it but know how ‘bad for you’ those other sugary cereals are. So I was happy to see a company try to tackle the problem of making cereal that is healthy and reminds you of your childhood. My least favorite flavor was frost (I wish it was honey instead), but the fruity flavor is amazing! It’s sweet, but not sugary and tasted just like childhood. Oh and did I mention it’s grain free?! Definitely buying a second box.

Gave me a stomachache unfortunately.
havent found a flavor I enjoy, but really great packaging and excellent effort trying to strip the sugar from nostalgic cereals!
I like only the fruit rings and the peanut butter ones.
Cool idea but does not taste good

Great tasting snack with a solid mission statement for providing a low sugar / carb cereal alternative. Enjoy some of the flavors, especially Cocoa and Cinnamon Roll, but some of the other flavors come off as a little too bland. My only real grip is that it's pretty expensive per box. It's nice to have but not something I consider important to have in my monthly grocery bill.
I love their packaging - that is what drew me to them in the first place. The cereal tastes amazing and is healthy!

As a picky vegetarian, its hard to get enough protien in my diet, so when my boyfriend saw Magic Spoon we knew we had to try it. We got the variety box that came with 2 boxes of protein bars and 4 boxes of cereal. My boyfriend likes the peanut butter flavor and I liked the fruity, and the frosted (we haven't tried the coco yet). The frosted had more of a marshmallow flavor, which I didnt mind, but there was a bit of a protein aftertaste that the fruity ones didnt have. All in all, a great alternative to my favorite high sugar breakfast cereals when I need some extra protein, but personally I dont think magic spoon could totally replace my store-bought cereal (yet..) As for the protein bars, they weren't a total miss, flavor was good but texture was weird so we're not likely to order them again.
Flavors aren’t bad, just ok. Wanted a healthier alternative for my kids but they weren’t a fan and it’s super expensive.
So the taste is really good! However it made me feel soooo sick to my stomach after eating it. My husband had to finish the rest, but he didn’t have any tummy issues.
We had bought the chocolate cereal after I got a craving for coco puffs and this was a great alternative that was quite a bit healthier! Get your chocolate cravings without the extra calories!
It’s okay! Delicious but hurt my stomach

If it wasn’t for the high cost, I would have this multiple times a day. Obsessed!
I really like the chocolate flavor, I just wish the price tag wasn't so high. But it's more protein than I've seen in any other low sugar cereal so that's a win.
Too pricey for weekly purchases but love it as a treat.
