Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

I've used this for hangovers and it actually works. The taste could be improved but overall the flavors aren't bad. It gets the job done.

Liquid IV was a life saver when I had COVID. The flavors a delicious, it did not make the water taste chalky, and it kept me hydrated.

I don't drink enough water, but I do a better job staying hydrated with liquid IV. I enjoy most of the flavors, especially the strawberry. Some flavors have caffeine, so be sure to check the labels. I also wish it had a slightly cleaner ingredient list overall. It's too sweet for me as recommended, but if you use half the packet (or 2x the water) it's much more balanced.

Liquid I.V. is the only reason why I remained alive all 3 days at Coachella.

While I do think it checks every box, the taste is good and it definitely does hydrate.

As someone with POTs I rely on hydration supplements and Liquid IV is my go to. It’s easy and tastes good, and it works. Some flavors are definitely better than others, and the seasonals are always fun to try. Classic strawberry never misses

I have a codependent relationship with LIV. I get honestly stressed when I'm low, I order wild amounts at once, and last spring, I ran around Europe for months with a backpack full of it. I have progressive tremors that are significantly worse when I am dehydrated and also waitress in a busy fine dining restaurant, so in the summer, I have to just keep downing these to be able to successfully cocktail a martini or coupe glass. I have a special connection with the Tart Apple kombucha flavor. All that said, I do find them to be a bit pricey, despite always finding some good coupon codes to use, and the sugar content is quite high. I unfortunately did not like the flavor of the sugar-free options as much as the regular, but I have tried them on several occasions. Imperfect, yes, but still the best option available in my experience.

Liquid IV has an amazing taste and is a great solution for a hangover, headache, oncoming sickness, or just a little hydration pick-me-up!

It was a punch in the mouth of flavour - too much! We mixed it with the amount of water per the instructions and couldn't choke it down. Had to pour some out and add more water to make it drinkable. Actually, because of the unbalanced ratios - the rating should be 5/5 because the bang for your buck just went up.

I've been sick a lot recently and generally been really dehydrated despite drinking a ton of water. These have been really helpful in keeping me hydrated. However, they are extremely sweet and I usually use double the recommended amount of water per packet to dilute it (I pour them in my 32 oz Hydroflask). I usually drink the passionfruit or tangerine (immunity) flavors. I actually cannot stand the acai flavor and it has a weird scent to me.

Taste good and I felt more hydrated. Only potential downside is the amount of sodium.

For someone who gets bad hangovers, these never fail to help me bounce back after a night of heavy drinking. I find for the best results, I drink one before a night out and again before bed or in the morning. When it comes to health and fitness however I would stick to coconut water, there are some harsh additives. But I definitely keep them stocked in my medicine cabinet for hangover relief. Also I read that the high sugar helps the electrolytes get to the blood quicker for anyone concerned about that. 🤷♀️

Love the taste!! I have POTS and use electrolytes to help my symptoms, however this one didnt have a ton of sodium, and had a lot of sugar. Which isn't the ideal ratio

This was given out to everyone, well at least the Trainers and Professionals at Great Southwest during the Pin Oak Charity Horse show series in Texas. Being springtime, the temperature fluctuated quite a bit and was humid enough to dehydrate you fast. The liquid IV wasn’t the best tasting electrolyte/hydration product I’ve had, but it definitely hydrated me well enough. To be honest, the flavor is what turned me off about it but I only tried the lemon lime. I think each packet is for one normal water bottle but the flavor was so strong and sour I couldn’t even use a half packet in a full water bottle.

The BEST hangover cure ever! They are so easy to just throw in your bag on a night out and pour into your water. They also have a really nice flavor not too sweet and they dissolve well if you stir or shake the product in water. I’ve seen some really cool creations with this, you can even make mixed drinks with this so you party and don’t regret it the next morning!

Not a bad product, love the flavor and how refreshing it is on a hot summer day. Real easy to mix up, just add one pouch to bottled water of your choice and reap the benefits of added minerals and electrolytes without the sodium plus less sugar than alternative drinks for an added bonus. I tried one sample and instantly added this to my regular shopping list, I was able to completely replace my Gatorade intake with this stuff to cut a good amount of sugar and sodium from my diet.

A product I love, a staple in my household I use these almost daily for a mix of the flavor and the rehydration it provides. My favorite flavor is definitely the ginger lemonflavor

Not bad

I love how these made me feel very hydrated. The only negative was the amount of sugar. Some flavors like acai were overly sweet. I had to use over 30 oz of water to dilute it enough to enjoy.

The flavor I had was lemon lime and it's definitely not super sweet but I did keep me super hydrated. It helps a lot since I'm pregnant and need constant hydration. It's definitely better than plain water and helps me drink more.
