Reviews mention

  • Noticeably fast hydration boost
  • Convenient travel-ready packets
  • Wide, crowd-pleasing flavors
  • Mixes easily in cold water
  • Overly sweet, sometimes salty taste
  • High sugar and sodium content
  • Occasional thick, gritty texture
  • Inconsistent flavor enjoyment

Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

  • Liquid IV is a great product that always comes in handy. I mostly use it for hangovers or whenever I feel dehydrated. They have a large variety of flavors which I love. I find some flavors more salty or sweet than others, but you have lots of options.

    Cheaper

  • Whenever I've had too much to drink the night before always grab some liquid IV to help. I love the taste and how easy it is to always have one on the go

  • I really like this product!

    Feedback

    More flavors and eco packaging.

  • I love the strawberry lemonade flavor…. But that’s really the only one I’ll drink. I typically reach for a liquid iv after an intense hot yoga sesh, and it usually seems to do the trick.

I’ve seen a lot of talk on social media about the high sugar content, which I guess could be a deterrent for some.

  • It mixes well and the flavors are good. It definitely helps with hydration after a long workout.

    Feedback

The only downside is it’s a little pricey.

  • I used liquid IV for the first time the other day when I was feeling very dehydrated. I brought me back to life! I felt so much better having the electrolytes being added to my water instead of reaching for a soda or sugary drink!

  • Overall wasn’t super impressed with results from LiquidIV. Had a rush of hydration for 30 minutes but it didn’t stay.

    Less sugar!!!!!!!!!!

  • I used Liquid IV during a beach trip. It worked pretty well for hydration, but the lemon flavor was not amazing. I would definitely try a different flavor.

    Feedback

I would definitely work on the lemon flavor Liquid IV. I usually love anything lemon tasting, but this one was just okay.

  • This saves my life every time I visit Las Vegas and any vacay!

There should be more limited edition flavors!

  • I did not like the flavors. I prefer Hydrant supplements over Liquid IV.

  • When i was working as a Ocean lifeguard i would always put Liquid IV in my water bottle. It always made me feel hydrated and not as hot since i’m in the sun.

    Works for Liquid I.V.
  • Great flavor (tried the lemon lime [favorite] and strawberry) and keeps me hydrated during long summer days! I work outside in the direct sun for 7+ hours a day and it is super refreshing.

Only 10 packets for $15+ dollars is fairly expensive! But the product is good, so I don’t mind spending :)

  • I feel more hydrated after drinking it.

    Feedback

It seems a little pricey but worth it.

  • I'm sure the electrolytes are good but the taste made it undrinkable to me. I have to stick with Powerade powder for now.

    Feedback

I didn't like the flavor. It was very strong (better than some electrolyte packets but still not delicious for me).

  • I have tried every flavor of the non-caffeinated kind (all good, favorite is strawberry). The energy one is not very tasty. They really do rehydrate you quick — blessing for hot exercise or hangover. Very sugary buT maybe can’t be helped.

Price. I buy them at Costco and it’s nearly $1/drink packet

  • These are my go-to electrolytes. I always keep some on me when I’m going out hiking or working out since they come in small, easy to open packages. I personally enjoy the sweet and salty taste a lot, which gives it a lot more flavor when compared to other electrolyte alternatives. Whenever I feel a bit dehydrated, I would just open a pack and mix it with my water and VOILA! I feel much better! A majority of the flavors are for hydration but the Lemon Ginger one is for energy so it is nice that there a variety of effects and flavors you can opt to choose.

It is a bit pricey so I usually buy it from Costco when there are deals on it.

  • I have a problem of not hydrating enough so I tried the strawberry hydration multiplier and I really enjoyed it. The flavor is good and I like that I can control the amount of sweetness I have for the amount of water I pour.

    Feedback

I wish the packaging was more environmentally friendly though it is nice that the packaging is very sturdy and can undergo a lot of stress without breaking. It is a bit more pricey than I'd like too so I only buy when on sale

  • I always keep these on hand to prevent me from getting a dehydration headache. A must when traveling. Probably the quickest way to feel rehydrated

    Feedback

    I wouldn’t mind less sugar

  • I tried this stuff one time and it was okay. I didn’t really see a difference with only one drink. It is veryyyyy thick and the lemon flavor isnt all that tasty to me. Overall, I would try it again maybe prior to a dehydrating activity to see if it would alter my hydration status after but so far its just okay.

    Better flavors

  • The flavors were good and the packaging was very small/convenient so it was easy to carry around or to pack in my gym bag. However, I did not see any noticeable difference when using this product
