Liquid I.V. reviews and discussion

I don't dislike Liquid IV by any means but it's definitely sweeter than I was expecting. I'm not into all of the fear-mongering around sugar but was surprised at how sweet it tasted. That said, I think it did it's job and I've still bought it a few times. The flavor profiles are pretty spot on!

Liquid IV is my spring of life during long days working on film production sets. Adding it to my water bottle gets me through. And lemon lime tastes so good, I'd choose to drink it even if it didn't have any health benefits just based on deliciousness. I love it! Having been a runner, a waitress, and now a production designer, I have used hydration supplements since the late 90s, but this product is leaps and bounds tastier than anything I'd tried before it, and seems to make me feel better almost immediately.

My favorite flavor is Golden Cherry! These are a daily staple for me! I can always tell when I don’t take my Liquid IV. It took me awhile to try it, as I had seen it hyped up everywhere and I was not sure if it would be worth it. Safe to say, I am now hooked!

Whether your at home, work, or traveling. Liquid IV is there to give you an extra boost of energy and hydration!

Liquid IV's packaging is great for a busy person, and the taste is acquired but pleasant. After reviewing many other electrolyte brands, I think that Liquid I.V.'s overall sugar content is way higher than necessary. The brand argues that it's part of their special rehydration formula, but I've felt the same effective rehydration from other lower-sugar competitors.

It’s really tasty although I wonder if some of the flavors are a little too sweet for my liking. Def works well to improve hydration whether it’s because you’re ill, hungover, or just in dire need of electrolytes.

As a person on the go, these packs travel so well. I grew up on Gatorade for rehydration after playing sports, spending the day in the sun, at the beach or when we came down with a cold. I use Liquid IV the same way now. It’s also great to prep yourself for a night out and to hydrate-up in the morning. Favorite flavors are watermelon, passion fruit, strawberry and lemon lime.

Super versatile product and accomplishes what they say they set out to do.

For my bachelorette party, my MOH included Liquid IV packs in our gift bags and I am thankful she did! After a night of consuming alcohol with my girlfriends, Liquid IV came to the rescue the next morning. After drinking 16 ounces of water with an “on-the-go” packet mixed in, I felt like a normal, alive human again!

I want to give the addictive Strawberry flavor 5 stars, but I have to give it a 3 overall. Minus 1 point for some flavor misses and high (13 g!) in sugar. Minus 1 for high price and wasteful individual packaging with no container or eco packaging refill option. Time to help the planet, please!

Keep these in the pantry for days I’m feeling extra sluggish and know I didn’t hydrate enough! Feel a difference almost immediately

I love the citrus flavors. I started using liquid IV six years ago, when I was nursing my oldest, and have continued to use it through my subsequent pregnancy and nursing journeys….( nursing now). I am a heavy milk producer so I have to stay very hydrated, and this product is the best help I’ve found. I recommend it to people all the time.

Not quite the effect I’d hoped for, but did help.

I lead an active lifestyle outside and on the go. This product has helped me to stay hydrated and provide the necessary electrolytes to replenish my system after an intense work out and sauna session or just a busy day with the kids running errands. After drinking it I always feel better as if I’m thinking more clearly and am energized.

The powder does not mix as easily as I would have liked and the flavor selection was very limited.

Big fan of liquid IV. I usually only use half of a packet or have a large enough water bottle so it isn’t too concentrated. Great for those that struggle to drink enough water everyday but totally not a replacement—keep drinking your water! It is expensive and that is where I struggle being a consistent buyer.

A staple product in my house

I only care for a few flavors — mostly watermelon and lime — but I do notice a difference when I drink one.
