Reviews mention

  • Noticeably fast hydration boost
  • Convenient travel-ready packets
  • Wide, crowd-pleasing flavors
  • Mixes easily in cold water
  • Overly sweet, sometimes salty taste
  • High sugar and sodium content
  • Occasional thick, gritty texture
  • Inconsistent flavor enjoyment

Liquid I.V. earns strong reviews for fast, noticeable hydration—especially after workouts, travel, heat, and hangovers—while convenient single-serve packets and broad flavor variety (Lemon Lime, Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Watermelon, Golden Cherry) stand out. However, many reviews flag overly sweet, sometimes salty flavors, a “thick” mouthfeel, undissolved grit, and high sugar/sodium; some prefer diluting with more water or the newer sugar‑free line, and a few question ingredient “cleanliness” or effectiveness versus competitors.

  • While the taste of these is decent and I do feel like they work for dehydration, I don’t love all the added sugar. They’ve recently come out with a sugar free option which I’m excited to try!

  • I would use this while working on the farm, LOVE IT

  • Liquid IV is a great hydration mix if you are a serious athlete or do lots of manual labor. The only downside is the high calorie and sugar content.

  • Seems like they invented this category and do it well. Easy to carry around and great for anything from hangovers to sports. I always have one of these in my carry-on or ski bag.

  • I love liquid IV! It has a decent amount of sugar, but is really effective at hydrating. I've been bringing them when I travel, and when I have a night of drinking, if I drink one before bed and in the morning, it really makes a difference in the hangover! The flavors are delicious too.

  • I *sometimes* I don't drink as much water as I should, and this really helps me feel like I'm catching up on hydration. I initially ordered some to bring with me on the flights to/from Japan, because I always feel so dry and dehydrated on planes, and I felt like I could feel the difference. I've started to drink them if I have a hangover, if I've gone for a long run, or anytime I could us a lil boost. I've only tried the lemon/lime flavor so far, which tastes like a yellow gatorade! Going to hunt out more flavors soon.

  • Delicious tasting. Tried lemon lime and the strawberry! They can be a little sweet at times so I normally add extra water! They are a bit pricey! But definitely do the trick with hydration!

  • my favourite flavour is lemon lime & strawberry lemonade

  • VERY EXPENSIVE, but also pretty great. When you're hungover or sick it really comes in clutch.

  • I LOVE Liquid IV. Anytime I'm feeling dehydrated this is my go-to. Sometimes getting water down is hard and Liquid IV makes it easy to get in all your water because it tastes great and goes down smooth. In fact, this has served as a lifesaver after a night of drinking too much. My secret preventative is: Take 4 charcoal caps when you realize you might be a little tipsy. Slam a stick of Liquid IV mixed with 32 oz of water and take 2 aspirin. Works like magic.

  • This is a lifesaver!!! Seriously. If the kids are going to be running track after school, I just throw it in the lunch and they can mix it in their water bottle later.... too much to drink the night before? Down the hatch.... Someone in the house have a stomach bug, liquid IV for the rescue again!

  • You need them!! Whether you workout, had a rough night out, are hungover, having a pool/lake/boat day, or just like flavored water these are the absolute best!!!

  • I love this stuff, tastes good and definitely makes me feel a lot better. Wish it didn't have the calories (45) but other than that its one of my favorite hydration supplements.

  • I absolutely love the taste & could definitely feel a difference. I actually had a headache & it helped take it away!

  • Man, I love this stuff. Perfect for morning after overindulgence on a girls’ weekend trip or if you find yourself dehydrated for some odd reason. I also find them helpful when I have a migraine.

  • An essential for rehydration. It has always been effective and I always feel better. From being ill to climbing the tallest mountain in New Mexico a few weeks back, it’s helps you to feel fresh and taken care of.

  • I've generally used the lemon lime for both hydration and funny enough, mixed drinks haha. But I really think this is the only flavor that tastes good, the rest are... subpar. I gave them a fair chance, but they just didn't hit the mark for me. The taste was either too artificial or simply didn't have that same satisfying flavor profile as the lemon lime. Maybe it's just my personal preference, but I felt that the other flavors lacked that wow factor.

  • I recently discovered Liquid IV, and it has become my go-to for staying hydrated and energized throughout the day. My favorite flavor is Passion Fruit, which adds a delightful tropical twist to my water. I love how this product motivates me to drink more water by infusing it with a burst of flavor. I prefer using half a pack per 16 ounces of water as the flavor is potent and the product leans towards the sugary side. Not only does Liquid IV make hydration more enjoyable, but it also leaves me feeling refreshed and revitalized. It's the perfect companion for my active lifestyle.

  • I bought a big pack for my trip in Cabo, 10/10. The recovery is amazing! It was my sister’s 21st but you would’ve thought it was my birthday. Without this product, I would not have enjoyed my entire trip. The watermelon and açaí berry flavors are my top favorites. Don’t walk, run to get this product!!!

  • I love this product—as a runner, hiker, dancer teacher (and sometimes social drinker with a lot of hangover anxiety), it is so refreshing to have a hydration beverage option that is quick, simple, and WORKS. Plus—it tastes great (not at all like fake sugar—ew). Yes, sometimes the flavors are too sugary or sweet, but it does not usually bother me.
