Liquid Death earns polarizing reviews: many praise its crisp still and sparkling waters, edgy tallboy cans that help non-drinkers blend in at concerts, and recyclable aluminum packaging; others call it “just water,” note metallic or flat tastes, and dislike sweetened flavors and the recent source change to Virginia. Fans highlight flavors like Mango Chainsaw, Severed Lime, Berry It Alive, and teas (Armless Palmer/Dead Billionaire), while critics cite bitter stevia aftertaste, limited carbonation, non‑resealable cans, and inconsistent flavor quality.

Love the branding and sustainable aluminum can, it makes water more fun to drink for sure, but the actual water itself isn’t astoundingly amazing. It’s good clean water, but not necessarily better than others.
Used to wonder what the point of this water was, maybe assumed it was over-hyped until I finally tried it one day. DELICIOUS water with sustainable packaging. Can't go wrong when you're on the go and need to hydrate. Fun packaging too

I really wanted to love this drink because I loved the packaging and can be a sucker for cool, niche drinks. However, I was disappointed. It tasted fine, but nothing special.
I love that the look of the brand (and maybe the brand equity itself) is at a point where people still think it's an alcoholic beverage so I don't have to deal with the 'why aren't you drinking' conversations. A 10/10 for utility for me! And awesome tasting water-- this is a real need (have you ever tasted water you didn't like *cough*Arrowhead*cough*? Yeah not Liquid Death).
Why are you reading this review? What do you hope to discover? It's water. Good water? Bad water? Honestly, just standard water. If you exclusively drink Fiji water you might be disappointed. If you drink Dasani water, this stuff will blow your mind. We've established that it's just water, but it costs like 10x what regular water costs. And yet, I want to make a case for why it's sometimes worth it. You're going to your friend's house for a party and you know everyone else is bringing beer. You're getting your knuckles tattooed and don't want to look like a dweeb. You're going to a show, but you work the night shift in a warehouse afterwards and plan to operate heavy machinery. I keep liquid death at my office and when clients come for meetings, I ask them if they'd like some water. If they don't, I pressure them to reconsider. When I come out with cans of Liquid Death, it's a gamechanger. An otherwise stale moment before a meeting is now a conversation-starter. It's hard to be sad with a Liquid Death can in your hand.

Liquid Death has memorable branding and a good mission to eliminate plastic. The cans themselves still feel a bit like one is drinking a tall-boy of beer, which can be socially awkward for a public place, and the water itself tastes good, but not memorably so.
Feedback
Other flavors/varied packaging and sizes might make it feel a bit less like one is drinking a beer out of a paper bag.
I understand the purpose of this product, but at the end of the day, it is just water. If you don't drink alcohol, please make sure you are spending time around people who completely support your sobriety.
I like the packaging, it is cool. However, I do not really see the hype surrounding Liquid Death. I am a big fan of sparkling water, so I will have that once in a while. The taste is pretty average to me.
Liquid Death is more than just a bottle of water — it’s a brand that stands for sustainability and style. The water itself is high quality, and the bold, edgy branding makes it a fun conversation starter. If you’re looking for a unique, eco-friendly water option that’s a little more "rock star" than your usual bottle, Liquid Death is worth a try.

The great tea at first name confused me and I thought I was an energy drink, but I think this product is a way trendy great gift and really fun especially if we are a team lover I appreciate it. This is nicely brewed.
It is a cool concept with the unique packaging. I was surprised when sparkling water came in a very intense soda can design. The sparkling water tasted fine, not sure if it was anything special to write home about.
I really don't understand the point of Liquid Death. Does it have extra electrolytes or something? The packaging is so crazy you would expect it to be more interesting than sweetened sparkling water that doesn't even taste that good.
I really enjoy drinking these at music festivals because you get the feel that you’re drinking a special drink or an alcoholic beverage without needing to. I feel like not having the social pressure to drink and having these around really does help.
Love the different varieties of “water” that liquid death has come up with! I’ve been enjoying all of the sparkling water varieties and can’t stop recommending since I was given a free product.

I’ve tried multiple flavors and I just can’t get down. There’s that artificial sugar taste that I can’t get around. I do love water in a can but will this beat out other sparkling water flavors for me personally no.
Surprisingly great water with bold, edgy branding. The taste is clean and refreshing — especially the sparkling version — and the tallboy cans are eco-friendly and fun to carry around. It’s a bit pricey, and the heavy-metal aesthetic isn’t for everyone, but it definitely makes staying hydrated more interesting.

I have had several of these flavors all of them are good.
Liquid death is a delicious water. The packaging/can is pretty cool, makes you feel like you are drinking, but without the alcohol. Recommend it.
My husband likes these but they're pricey so I won't purchase them without a promotion or sale.
I’m hooked on this water! Liquid Death’s flat mountain water is my top pick — crisp, clean, and surprisingly tasty for something that comes in a can. What really sets it apart, though, is the branding. It’s not pretending to be some mystical spring water with nature scenes on the label. Instead, it leans into a bold, rebellious vibe — more like an energy drink than your average bottled water. And the name? "Liquid Death" screams attitude while delivering pure hydration. It’s like telling your thirst to take a hike. Highly recommend giving it a try
