Lego earns strong reviews as a creative, well-engineered brand that consistently delights—from Technic and Harry Potter to the adult Botanical Collection—thanks to clear instructions, sturdy bricks, and display-worthy designs; it’s good for both play and decor. Reviews also surface drawbacks: small parts pose choking risks, plastic sustainability concerns linger, and complexity or obsession can escalate, with some calling sets too expensive.

  • This was a simple and fun first build for my 7 year old niece. She enjoyed all the cute little props and flowers, and she was able to follow the instructions very well. It's a very cute series and would be neat to have in a Japanese restaurant as a bit of décor.

  • We have bought a lot of LEGO over the decades - just as fun today as it was when we were kids. Still sturdy. Cute figurines and licensed sets. Love the LEGO stores in malls also - they sometimes have cute events. There's a documentary on how they almost folded and had a great come-back story, if you ever want to watch.

  • Always love, love, love. LEGO is one of those things that naturally bonds people. I have memories of building it with my siblings not just as kids, but also as adults — meeting up, drinking wine, and building unicorns from LEGO together. True story. And honestly, some of my favorite memories.

  • I grew up as a Lego kid. The designs are so fun, and now the botanical collection that targets adults is so beautiful! I know they have a commitment to sustainability, but it still pains me to buy it new since it’s plastic.
