  • Love my leaf shaver. So easy to use, i’ve had mine for two years now and it still works like its brand new. 10/10 would recommend

  • I love the razor, I’ve had it for almost a year now and I’m never going back to a traditional razor. It saves a ton of waste, and after the initial cost- a ton of money on blades. *update* I’m writing this to add an incredibly positive customer service experience. I originally purchased the leaf razor about two years ago. This winter a piece of my razor broke, I was initially upset about the break and felt irritated I’d have to repurchase. I reached out to the customer service team and they replaced my razor with no questions asked and shipped it to me at no cost in less than a week. Incredible product, incredible team. I fully recommend this. It’s a great investment.

  • I got the simple silver razor with the adjustable head, which feels and works like a commercial disposable razor, so it was an easier transition for me. The razor does of course feel heavier in hand, but that weight was easy to get used to, and to me, it made it feel like a more luxurious/well-made product. Also was easy to change out blades.

Maybe try different handles. I didn't mind it, but I can see other people wanting a thicker handle since it's heavier, or just a more oversized handle is a groove or something for gripping. Or some sleeve grip.

  • I’ve used the leaf razor for 2 years. The swiveling head is great. Over time I’ve dealt with some slight rusting, and the tiny magnets that hold the blades in place tend to pop out. I was hopeful that this razor would allow me to get rid of disposable razors entirely, but I still need disposables when flying.

The tiny magnets! It makes it so hard to replace the blades.

  • Works really well and is a great investment!

  • I have learned to love this product. It's so much better for the environment and makes me feel good knowing I've had the same razor for over three years now. It did take me awhile to get used to (and I stained a few towels from the cuts on my legs), but I just had to learn not to press as hard as I was used to with my previous disposable razors.

  • I really like the premise of this, but I have found that this razor does not shave very well. It leaves a lot of hairs behind, and it is pretty easy to cut myself with it at the same time.

    Feedback

the razor itself needs work to be able to effectively get all hairs and areas, maneuver well. I love the sustainability angle but the product doesn't hold up.

  • Pricey upfront, but worth it! I love not constantly buying razors and the shave quality is just so much better. I've been using mine for several years now and probably spent $15 since buying it, just to get new blades. So much better for the environment.

The cleaning could be a bit tricky sometimes. Things get stuck usually behind the blades and it can get annoying cleaning it.

  • This is an awful razor. It is much harder to use and more time consuming. The engineering is 50 years old with not a single improvement. BUT worst of all are the actual razors that come with them. These are the lowest quality razor blades that I've come across. Straight out of the wrap I put them under a scope and there was chemical etching all over the edges and the blades had dirt ( probably metal dust ) all over the surface of the blade.

Do not buy or use this razor (particularly if it has a leaf blade in it. Buy pretty much any other razor

  • I really love the razor - it's the perfect balance of heavy enough to feel quality, but not too heavy to be unusable. I love being able to customise how close of a shave I need, which is something most other brands can't do. The fact that I have had it for almost a year now and it still looks basically brand new is great!

I really wish that the blades bought directly from leaf wouldn't include adhesive to package them together. it leaves a buildup/residue on my razor that I have to scrub to get off.

  • I've had my leaf for 3 years now and its been a game changer. I get a closer shave, save money, and create less waste. It can be a little tricky to replace the blades but other than that its perfect.

  • I bought this razor more than two years ago and I still love it. I wanted a sustainable option for plastic razors but I was scared of single use metal razors. When I found Leaf I realized I could have the sustainable option with the comfort of a modern razor. It's really easy to replace the blades when needed and it has a lifetime warranty. It probably already paid for itself compared to how many plastic razors I would have bought by now. I highly recommend you ditch the plastic razors and get one of these.

  • I'm half Indian and naturally very hairy. I have to shave my legs every 2-3 days to maintain some level of smooth. I got my armpits lasered to reduce hair growth but I still have to shave every few days. I go through razors very, very quickly. And because of the high cost of shavers, I skipped shaving a lot which negatively influenced my self confidence. Introducing Leaf Shave. A friend swore by it, I purchased it as a Black Friday present to myself, and I'm so darn happy I took the leap. 1. The upfront cost is high, no doubt, but I'm STILL using my initial purchase's blades 1 year later. My re-up on blades is maybe once every 6-9 months, instead of 3-4 weeks. 2. Environmental effects is SO MUCH less than the nonstop flow of shavers on my shelves. 3. I feel like a badass when I unload and re-load my blades.

    Feedback

The ONLY negative is the learning curve for the sharpness of the blades. I used to press down on a blade to get a close shave and I was a pro at very quick shaves. But with Leaf.... pushing down means I easily remove a chunk of skin. It took me a couple months of cuts and nicks along my legs before I got the routine down. I've learned to slow down my shaves + moisturize beforehand... which I should've been doing from the very beginning, really :) Also, a travel case would be awesome! I use the same box it arrived it to travel, taped closed with some duct tape. An official travel case would be awesome!
