  • I became more acquainted with Le Labo during my years at Barneys New York. I would smell the different scents whenever I would visit the store. It was a brand where all the scents were multi-dimensional and complex and really brought you to another place. I also really love the design aesthetic of the packaging! The customization aspect makes it a special gift (whether for yourself or a loved one!).

  • I'm new to the perfume scene, but somehow got hooked after smelling a tester at Le Labo. I had always thought that the brand was too expensive and not approachable but my experience at the store in LA changed my mind. I decided to splurge on a liquid balm and have been an avid fan since (it's been a couple years). Their other scents are also incredibly distinct and smells much more elevated than traditional luxury perfumes (Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Dior, etc.). The scents are also great for layering. They don't try to go "over the top" with marketing by having large displays/ads. I really enjoy how understated they are. Plus, their OverheardAtLeLabo account is hilarious; I wouldn't have expected it from a luxury brand, but that just makes me like them even more.

When it comes to personalization, it's really just printing a name on the bottle which I don't think is all that "special". I think given the price point, they can offer more on the experience outside of labeling the bottle. Perhaps a small printed pouch as a personalization touch would be much better.

  • LOVE going to any Le Labo boutique. It's a complete sensorial experience and journey.

The price point is a little inhibitive.
