Larq earns largely positive reviews for delivering genuinely cleaner, fresher‑tasting water via UV‑C self‑cleaning and optional filter straw, plus strong insulation and long battery life; many users report improved hydration and sleek, durable designs. However, reviews also flag weaknesses: buggy or inaccurate app syncing, leaking lids and loose or faulty straws, heavy bottles with small effective capacity, and recurring cap “orange ring” malfunctions that undermine reliability.

I got the LARQ water bottle and I love it very much. It look very stylish and it is very convenient. It keeps water cold for a long period of time. Also, I like this innovative feature of self-cleaning. It gives you a peace of mind knowing that you always have purified water. Another great thing is that you have an App linked to your bottle showing the status of your filter, keeping track of your water intake. When it is the time to drink your water, the bottle has a light that flashes. It is very cool. I am very happy with my purchase because it is a high quality well designed reusable water bottle.

I recently tried the LARQ Bottle PureVis 2. It arrived well-packaged, and the water bottle includes its own filter. The instructions were easy to follow. It's a pleasing matte white color with a textured surface for a good grip. I tested the filter's effectiveness by filling the bottle with tap water and activating the filter using either the app or the button on the bottle; both methods worked well. To my delight, the filtered tap water tasted excellent. A side-by-side comparison with unfiltered tap water clearly showed the filter's effectiveness. This bottle is perfect for on-the-go hydration, allowing me to refill with tap water anywhere and enjoy great-tasting filtered water. The app helpfully monitors my water intake and provides personalized daily recommendations based on my age and activity level. Overall, it's a fantastic smart water bottle that filters water, tracks intake, and boasts a long-lasting charge. The water filter will only begin filtering once it is manually activated either on the bottle or through the app. The app's battery life indicator is a full shaded image; despite a charge time of less than a day, it has lasted nearly four weeks. I removed the filter to verify the app's filter life percentage. It began at 100% upon installation on December 22nd; by December 28th, it showed 92%, after only two uses with tap water. To test the accuracy, I removed the filter completely, and the percentage continued to decrease. It was at 92% when removed and 77% on January 5th, even without use. Therefore, I would not trust the app's filter life percentage indicator.

I bought a supposedly new PureVis LARQ bottle from their website and when I opened the box I found this. Zero quality control and zero customer support. Avoid making the same mistake.

I really love having this bottle. I was a tad skeptical at first, but it has exceeded my expectations. I like that there is a do not disturb feature to use at night so the white glow doesn’t bother you. I love that it’s self cleaning. I’m able to only clean it once a week unless I’ve messed up the top with lipstick. Then I just wipe the top down. The app is great and seems accurate as long as I set the water bottle down so the sensor can read properly. I always know it’s checking water levels when it glows. It even flashes when it’s time to drink or refill as a reminder. The water stays cool overnight. I like that there’s an adventure mode for extra sanitation. I’m definitely loving this bottle!

I love the Larq personal bottles. The 1st generation one had two caps - one for filtering and the other for sanitizing. Then the 2nd generation one came out with it combined in one cap. That is awesome and gives me confidence I am drinking clean purified water. Add in the subscription for the filter cartridge and it's a perfect system that keeps me going. I am still waiting for the Gen 2 phone app for android.

This water bottle is a significant improvement over the previous version. The detachable handle is convenient for clipping onto a messenger bag or backpack. The USB charger is more practical than the old micro-USB cable, and the cap is much more resistant to drops. Definitely worth the price.

I bought the LARQ Pitcher PureVis, Bottle PureVis, and Bottle Swig Top, and I love them! The Pitcher makes my water taste super fresh with its UV-C tech, and it looks great in the fridge. The Bottle PureVis is perfect for on-the-go, keeping my water clean and cold all day. The Swig Top adds even more convenience for quick sips. Stylish, eco-friendly, and super effective – totally worth it! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I’ve been using the LARQ Bottle Swig Top for a while now, and I love how convenient it is! The detachable handle makes it super easy to carry around whether I’m heading to the gym or just out for a walk. Plus, it keeps my water cold all day long, which is a huge plus. I also added the filter straw, and now I can have filtered water wherever I go. It’s so reassuring to know that I’m drinking clean water, no matter where I fill up. Sooo worth it!

I have loved everything from LARQ so far! They’re basically the Apple of water products with technology and sleek design. I had the original self cleaning bottle first, the pitcher and now the PureVis 2. As someone who used to go through reusable bottles like crazy because they’d get so stinky I couldn’t even scrub out the smell, I was drawn to the self cleaning technology. With the newest PureVis 2 version, I really cut down on bottled water purchases too due to the filtration attachment. The pitcher is great for my apartment and the bottle is great for refilling while I’m out. The filters make water taste so much better even from the New York tap! I bought the Swig Top for the dune color and swapped the strap onto my PureVis 2 and I’m in love! I hope they come out with more strap colors or bottle colors in general!

I purchased the 25oz purevis bottle and used it about a month and a half. One day I filled the bottle with water and upon pressing the lid button I noticed an orange ring color. I contacted Larq and they replied: “Thank you for reaching out and we apologize for the inconvenience again. The orange light LED indicator is designed to turn on as a safety feature, however, it seems to be malfunctioning on your bottle“. The bottle was under warranty so they sent me a replacement cap. I had the new cap less two months and once again I had the same problem with the orange ring. I contacted Larq again and I let them know for the price of over $118.00 usd the product should last longer. All they could do was apologize and offer me a 30% code that I could use to purchase another cap. For me I am not impressed with the quality of the product and do not recommend anyone else throwing money away on their purevis bottles.

I have been using LarQ for the past year and a half. I gave myself a year before reviewing to allow margin of errors and let me tell you there was none. The bottle works brilliantly and its the best I have tried so far, the water is clean and not stale. The bottle is spotlessly clean and no odors. No faults.

Communication entre la marque et moi au top, toujours très actif à nos messages à nous répondre. Qualité du produit et le design amazing !

I really wanted to like this product but it is very heavy for such a small amount of water. I also had a frequent problem of forgetting to charge the cap to get full use of the product. The look is really nice, but I will probably stick to my hydroflask.
I had purchased one of the larger UV light bottles. It was hard to know if this actually worked.
Feedback
I felt it was too much money for what it was and was hard to know if it actually worked. The bottle when filled was also heavy.
My Larq self-cleaning water bottle has revolutionized my hydration habits. The UV purification gives peace of mind when refilling at questionable gym water fountains, and it's eliminated the persistent 'water bottle smell' my previous bottles developed.
The LARQ bottle has a sleek design and a great self-cleaning UV feature, which is a cool innovation for keeping water fresh. It’s convenient for travel and reduces the need for constant scrubbing. However, the high price doesn’t always feel justified, especially since the UV light doesn’t filter out contaminants—it just neutralizes bacteria. Also, the bottle can be heavier than expected. Overall, it’s a nice gadget but not a must-have, especially if you already have a good water bottle and a filter.
I absolutely love my LARQ drink bottles. My husband and I both have one and it's made our life so much more simple. We are often on the go, for sport or travelling domestically and internationally. We used to worry about consuming low-quality water or we would opt for bottled water. With LARQ, we no longer need to! It's filter works so great and the bottle is super easy to carry around, not to mention it's sleek and modern looking! The carabiner makes for an easy clip on to our bags. We also find that it keeps our water cold for ages.
There was definitely a lot of hype surrounding this product, especially after its appearance on Shark Tank. I gave it a try, but I found it inconvenient having to constantly charge it and the unpleasant smell that developed in the bottle over time. Now it's just sitting in the corner of my room while I stick to using my trusty swell bottle. It's not bad per se, but it's just not my personal preference.
started with the bottle but most obsessed with the pitcher - game changer
