Stainless Steel Bottle

  • Over the past few years. I have been trying to become more and more environmentally friendly. This means that I will thrift instead of buying new, bring my own container for leftovers at restaurants, and of course, use a metal water bottle when possible. This last one has actually proven to be quite the challenge as reusable water bottles present two big obstacles with my current lifestyle. 1. They are typically quite big and heavy. As someone that constantly likes to sip here and there, I cannot fit most water bottles into my mini backpack and have to bring a separate bag to carry one in. 2. Reusable water bottles require cleaning, and I believe it is even recommended to clean them every single day. I hate to say it but I am very lazy when it comes to cleaning and washing a bottle out daily is not yet part of my routine. So because of this I have stuck with plastic bottles. I do recycle them but not only are plastic bottles not truly recyclable (they get upcycled at best), I keep hearing more and more about the microplastics that enter your body because of them. With these things in mind, I have a renewed drive to stop my old habits. I have many reusable water bottles and sadly they do end up smelling and even with cleaning tablets and lots of scrubbing, the smell does come back relatively quickly. Then along came my discovery of LARQ. This brand claims its bottles neutralize odor causing batería with its UV-C light. I’ve heard a lot about these lights but have never owned a product that uses it. Like a lot of other good quality bottles it is vacuum insulated to keep drinks hot or cold for a long time. Immediately it was clear to me that this bottle was really well made. You do need to charge the bottle every once in a while and give it a rinse, but that’s basically all the maintenance required. After using this bottle for a few months I am happy to report that it still does not smell at all! I will say that the cleaning cycle is supposed to happen every two hours, but as it is super quick, I rarely catch it doing the cleaning, and I like to manually press the top to make the cleaning cycle run just in case. So as far as I can tell this bottle is really doing its job. While it does not solve the issue of fitting into my backpack, not having to clean it every day makes it worth lugging around. That being said, this convenience does come at a pretty steep price. This is definitely the most expensive water bottle I have purchased. But it was a worthwhile investment. I will say I am now tempted to buy a sipper cap or a travel sleeve. I love this bottle and hope to use it for many years to come!

  • I have recently started using the Lara PureBis 2 Smart Water Bottle and I love it. There are several features I love about this bottle. I really like the fact that it has a 60 second cycle that kills 99.99% of viruses and bacteria. Another great plus is this holds my water temperature cold for up to 24 hours and my hot drinks for up to 12 hours. This bottle has a great battery life so I don’t have to charge it often. It is easy to charge with the USB-C port. I like that this connects to my phone and tracks my water intake. I am very happy with this water bottle. The technology is above anything I have ever tried.

  • I have been using this bottle for a month now and I like it so far. It is hard to tell if all the claims made by this product is true and you done really get to see it in action. There are some things I like about this, the designs is pretty cool and looks contemporary. The insulation is the bottle is pretty good. My water temperature holds for almost 24 hours. the hydration tracking is pretty cool. Every time you drink off of it and put it on a flat surface, the app instantly tells you how much you consumed and lately, you don't have to clean it as it is advertised as a self cleaning water bottle which I love. The things i don't like is obviously the price and hate that there is a constant change of filter. I haven't had to change it yet but I know its coming and I am not looking forward to it. The app claims that it sends reminders to drink water but I am yet to receive the notification. Lastly, given the price tag, I wish it was trackable via the app. This bottle is most suitable for travelers and hikers.

  • This is my second larq bottle. I was excited for this one due to the clipping handle and straw and taking it on international travels to help me feel better about the water I was getting and ingesting. I love the idea and the concept and it truly makes water crisper and makes me feel better about what I’m drinking. Love that it has a small filter, the mouth part is easy to use when the straw cooperates, but thats like 1 in 10 times when drinking it. I haven't quite figured out that you can slip it or tip it and it works best.. because the straw is always malfunctioning because its too heavy at the bottom. However, my low star rating with it is that my straw kept falling out, it doesn’t secure in the lid tightly and was just loose all the time and would just fall out and I would have to stick my hands in there to fix it before drinking each time. So for that reason I don’t recommend because it not worth trying to fix every time you go to drink from it.

  • obvi the design is absolutely gorgeous and i love the idea of it but i never use this bottle!!! for almost $100 for a water bottle, really think before you buy if you'll actually use it, especially if you have clean water accessible to you

  • I've loved using the Larq purified water filter with UV cleaning. The self-cleaning feature is important as other filters such as Brita often lack premium taste and the inside can get bacteria infested rather quickly. Larq's clean minimalistic design makes it a perfect addition to the home for your daily hydration needs.

  • The concept of this stainless steel water bottle is genius. I have always struggled with getting enough daily hydration and tracking my intake. So, when I found out about this bottle I was excited to give it a try. The bottle has a sleek design and smart features. The top contains all the technology including the rechargeable feature, the tracking and the capability to communicate with the app and notify the user. The charge lasts a long time...approximately 7 days. The app is very simple, yet functional. The initial set up was so easy.... it took me 10 minutes. It is so accurate in tracking your personal daily water intake with reminders according to your set up options. One feature that I really love is the self cleaning feature. This feature saves me time, never mind the amount of money I'm saving to not buy water bottles when I'm at work. Just knowing I'm helping the environment to reduce plastic use makes this so worth it.

  • The LARQ PureVis 2 is a modern water bottle with a bunch of tech inside. I appreciate features the bottle has like the detachable handle, which adds a nice touch of convenience. One of the standout features is the bottle’s reminder system. It has a noticeable blinking light that consistently prompts you to drink more water, making it hard to forget. The app that comes with the bottle seem to track the water intake well, sometimes it is off if you don't let the water bottle sit between sips or take big gulps. In terms of price, this bottle is definitely an investment, so it's best suited for those who prioritize staying hydrated. I think it might be very over priced for what you get but currently i am only using it at home I am sure while traveling this bottle would be used more often and for better clean water, especially in places you might be weary. Like other insulated bottles this keeps the water at cold temps for a long time, I think it is rated for 24 hours, from what I have experience it is really around up there in that range. I like tech so a new way to have fresh water is good in my book.
