I feel like EVERY makeup video mentions Kosas as their holy grail concealer — so obviously, I had to try it for myself! I was already a fan of the brand (their wet lip oil in Unbuttoned is PERFECTION), so I went in with pretty high expectations. And honestly, their product met every one of them! Before purchasing the Kosas Revealer Skin-Improving Foundation, I had been using the same Tarte foundation for a decade. When I ran out, I decided to try something new with these criteria: clean-er/ish formulation, makes me look dewy and adds moisture, affordable, contains SPF, buildable coverage. I tried a few (one from Saie) but once I tried Revealer, nothing else compared. I'm not a big foundation-wearer (or even makeup wearer), but I do have uneven skin tone and some redness and wanted to have something that felt light and left my complexion looking markedly improved. What makes it stand out: it delivers on all my criteria and then some. I even blend like a quarter pump with my daily SPF lotion (currently using La Roche-Posay Anthelios Face 60 SPF) and apply them at the same time. I cannot explain how easy it is to apply just with fingers. Without any other product, I'm 70% done. TLDR: No notes.
