Reviews mention

  • Low-glycemic formula, blood-sugar friendly
  • Soft-baked, chewy cookie texture
  • Colorful, eye-catching packaging
  • High-fiber, portion-controlled packs
  • Occasionally dry, cakey texture
  • Noticeable sweetener aftertaste
  • Small cookie size, scant quantity
  • Inconsistent, muted flavor intensity

Joydays earns largely positive reviews as a low-glycemic, low-sugar cookie that satisfies sweet cravings without spikes, with many comparing the soft-baked texture to Chewy Chips Ahoy and praising colorful packaging, generous chocolate chips, fiber, and portion-controlled packs. Reviews also flag downsides: frequent dryness or “healthy”/aftertaste notes, small cookie size, inconsistent texture, and polarizing flavors (notably peanut butter), making them a better-for-you alternative rather than a true classic cookie replacement.

  • I thought these would have a weird aftertaste or something because they're low sugar/low glycemic index but they taste good -- actually better than regular cookies in my opinion, plus the added fiber is awesome.

  • This product was absolutely delicious. My mom has diabetes so she was pleasantly surprised that these tasted so good. We will be repurchasing soon.

  • The cookies on the package looked amazing. I was so excited to try these but was disappointed by the lack of flavor and hard texture. I know they are a diabetic option but I think there are better products out there.

  • The joydays cookies are soft, balanced sweet, and a bit crumby. I like that they come in smaller portions compared to most cookies out there. The sweetener taste is a bit off to my liking though.

  • I like the low sugar aspect of Joydays cookies. I always crave for sweets but it's not easy to find treats with low added sugar and less junk ingredients.

  • Pleasant but not amazing honesty. I really wanted to love these, but tbh they’re reminiscent of fiber one brownies except more expensive for much much less. A hard pass from Me in the future

  • I loved the flavor and soft baked cookie ESPECIALLY for having the macros it has. As someone with an insatiable sweet tooth but with an active lifestyle and good dieting, these cookies are perfect when I need a dessert or snack.

  • Honestly, reminded me of OG Chewy Chipsahoy.

  • Just let yourself eat the real cookie. This is a classic example of a ~healthy alternative~ that makes you wish you just had more of the real thing. These taste like a date-based version of the Grandma’s vending machine cookie you may have eaten in middle school. They are chewy, yet also somehow dry as a powder. The double chocolate was better than the chocolate chip fwiw.

  • I liked this product, but also found the monk fruit flavor to be a little overwhelming. I love BFY cookies, and think the nutritional profile is good, but just couldn’t get over the aftertaste.

Tweaking the monk fruit ingredient profile.

  • The taste and texture is interesting, not the best. Good that it's low carb/sugar for those that need an alternative option.

  • These are just okay- the texture is soft baked not crunchy. They are moist but they taste healthy if you know what I mean! If you are looking for a sugar free cookie that still taste like a cookie, this is not it!

  • Pretty tasty! Great to have onhand when I want something sweet. Makes me feel less guilty.

  • Great in theory, but the cookies were crumbly and dry. I would not get again, especially as my kids refused to eat these!

  • Ehhh, much to appreciate but the flavor just isn’t there and the texture is a little off-putting. I enjoyed the peanut butter more than the chocolate chip.

  • I really enjoyed these chocolate chip cookies because you get 3 cookies in a serving and the amount of chocolate chips in each cookie is actually really surprising. I found the cookies to be just chewy enough and not too crispy. I like that they are low carb as well and they satisfy my sweet tooth and seem a little sinful, even though they aren’t.

  • This isn’t the first time I have bought these cookies. Yes they aren’t the best cookies in the world, however they are good and much better for those who need to eat less sugar. So not the sweetest cookie however does hit the sweet tooth spot.

  • I’m diabetic so I was super excited to try these with the lie glycemic index per cookie. However the texture was…ehhhh not what I expected. My husband tried one too and he said it was like eating cardboard and he would never eat them again after spotting them into the trash. I’m used to low sugar and different textures so they weren’t my fav but not absolutely terrible. But for the price there’s more than likely no way I will ever buy them again.
