Reviews mention

  • High-protein, plant-based noodles
  • Flavorful, savory broths
  • Lower-carb, higher-fiber formula
  • Versatile, add-in friendly base
  • Rubbery, grainy noodle texture
  • Inconsistent broth intensity
  • Small, unsatisfying portions
  • Broth occasionally overly salty

immi earns polarized reviews: the brand delivers convincing plant‑based broths (notably Black Garlic “Chicken,” Tom Yum “Shrimp,” and Spicy “Beef”) and high protein, low‑carb, high‑fiber noodles that satisfy health‑minded eaters, but many find the noodle texture rubbery, grainy, or tough and the flavors occasionally bland or overly salty. Reviews indicate it can be good when customized with add‑ins and longer cook times, yet recurring critiques cite small portions and inconsistent seasoning versus traditional ramen, making immi a thoughtful alternative rather than a universal crowd‑pleaser.

  • The noodles are tougher than al dente, and I like that they're higher in protein, but there is a good amount of fat to tag along. Likewise, there isn't a ton of flavor. This cup version has much more flavor than the bagged versions, but it could still use more.

  • I recently tried Immi instant ramen, and I’m seriously impressed. It’s low-carb, plant-based, and packed with protein — perfect for when I want comfort food without the guilt. The noodles have a great texture, not mushy like typical instant ramen, and the broth is full of flavor. I love that it keeps me full and energized, unlike regular ramen that leaves me feeling bloated. Plus, it’s so quick to make! It’s become my go-to meal when I need something fast, healthy, and satisfying. Definitely a game-changer for noodle lovers watching their carbs!

  • I was really excited to try this ramen. The flavors were unique and for the price point I was expecting a high quality product. It was flavorless. I’d prefer a 30 cent package than this $5 one any day.

  • I am type 1 diabetic and love ramen so I wanted to try a lower carb option. The noodles have a bad smell and flavor. I got the sampler pack and I just wish the seasonings were more.....more impactful? I know to add one cup of the broth rather than the 2 from boiling the ramen but even with adding sauces the taste was lacking. I'm disappointed but love the mission and attempt.

  • I wanted to like these so badly! I tried the shrimp flavor originally and it was a hard pass, nevertheless I pushed on and tried the black garlic thinking maybe I just chose the wrong flavor. Except there was no flavor, like at all. The texture of the noodles is way off but that I could’ve dealt with, having to dr up the flavor with all sorts of add-ins to have any sort of flavor really felt like it of defeated the purpose of instant ramen at home. Unfortunately this was a no go for me.

  • I'm not a food snob by any means, but I thought immi ramen was a major mistake. The nutritional numbers seem impressive, but the noodle texture was so gross and grainy even when properly cooked. The broth was great, though. I'd understand if you eat immi for the nutrition, but it's definitely not for the experience.

  • My hubby ordered the Ramen noodles specifically for the low-carb branding. We’ve tried quite a few others and found that the ‘mouth feel’ was unappealing and a bit slimy. Not so with the Immi noodles! They are easy to prepare, whether by stovetop (works for me) or by microwave, the texture is great. As the packaging says ‘ make it your own’, I took that to heart. The noodles are firm (al dente) and keeps its shape. The different flavor packets work great since I enjoy mild and hubby likes a little kick! Of course, I add a variety of veggies, diced meats, and additional spices to suit our tastes. We truly enjoy our Immi ramen nights and you can too! We will purchase again! Enjoy!

  • I bought these as a healthier alternative to ramen noodles. They taste plastic and the flavor was off. They tasted like healthier noodles but not in a good way.

  • The flavor and scent was pretty bad. I'm much more forgiving of the odd texture, since this is a high protein ramen, but the aroma was terrible, and it was bitter and bland.

  • My husband usually enjoys most foods and is not picky at all. He tried this product and said that it was absolutely disgusting and, even when cooked according to the directions, the noodles were super gummy and not good. Too bad cause I love the concept, branding, etc.

  • These taste awful!! The noodles are weak and the broth tastes thin and disgusting. Would not recommend, especially with the price

  • I wanted to love this product, but I couldn’t even eat it. The noodles never got soft and I followed the package instructions. Do not recommend.

  • I tried Immi Black Garlic Chicken - I added my own spices and vegetables and let simmer in a slow cooker, so it was a little spicy but that may have been my doing! It was flavorful and tasty. I would buy again.

  • Pretty good!! I usually braise (sort of) my ramen, but it didn’t work with these noodles. Still, the flavor was really good. The texture was a bit more chewy, which I liked.

  • Immi noodles sound delicious but unfortunately they taste like cardboard and are wildly expensive too. I think it has potential risk but is not currently a product I’d repurchase.

  • I like the idea. More protein and fiber in a quick-to-make product that historically doesn't. I just don't think it's worth $6 for one pack.

  • I loved this ramen! I only tried the black garlic “chicken” flavor. The texture of the noodles was great & I enjoyed the soup base. It’s an easy lunch that packs 23g of protein & only 5 net carbs which makes it macro friendly. I will purchase this ramen again!

  • Noodles are slimy. The flavor packet tastes rancid. Comes with just the bad noodles and untasty flavor package. Is very expensive at $6.50 for less noodles than dollar store Ramen. I toss the dollar store ramen flavor pack and make with unsalted seasoning and no salt chicken broth. Tastes great without the salt. Immi is disgusting!

  • Not for me

I did not enjoy this ramen at all the flavor was not great, i definitely wouldn’t purchase this product.

  • I looked forward to trying the Immi Ramen soup in the creamy chicken flavor on a cold afternoon. Sadly, the warmth of the soup was the only redeeming factor. The noodles were not noodley They remained stiff and rubbery. There was little taste to the broth and it had an odd odor to it. I will likely not be trying it again, especially since the price is fairly high for a Ramen product.
