I tried the discovery set for Imaginary Authors. Loved their branding, their website. Really did not enjoy any of their scents in the end. I tried every fragrance 3-4 times attempting to narrow them down to my favorite, but ultimately threw them all away. I’m no perfumer, but it seemed to me like this brand heavilyyyy favored smokiness - almost every scent I felt like I was walking into a burning building, some more than others. The ones I thought enjoyed initially were a pass after 2 or three more tries. I can’t recommend. Also I threw away the box, so enjoy this picture of my cat.

Got a sample set. Most were fine, but I didn't fall in love with any of them.

Materializing stories into fragrances, Imaginary Authors contributes to the burgeoning American perfume scene with an unique angle. These perfumes are diverse and some even challenging. My favorites include: City on Fire St. Julep Every Storm a Serenade Did I mention their packaging is gorgeous?
