IKEA is loved by many for its affordable and high-quality storage items, interesting knick knacks, and unique shopping experience. However, some customers expressed disappointment in the quality of some furniture items and experienced difficulties with customer service and product transparency in certain instances.

I like the store and think that in itself is an experience. It’s always fun looking around there The products are pretty great even though you have to put them together yourself. They are sturdy and long lasting while looking stylish too

I have purchased several containers for food storage. I love their glass options and found it affordable and stylish. Can be hard if you do not live near one.

Solid, good value choice for basic furniture. I have a new standing desk that I absolutely love. The cafe is great too. Sometimes product quality can be a little lacking.

I believe IKEA is almost always a hit-or-miss, but my experience with it has been largely positive. I've owned the HEMNES bed and it's been a delight, however, I do not really enjoy their couches as it doesn't take very long for the seating parts to "deflate".

I love IKEA and their products. Their stores are a lot of fun to walk-around and really try the furniture first-hand without salespeople coming over and trying to force a sale. All of their products are reasonably priced and look great. I like the more minimalist, zen-inspired style and that's easy to find at IKEA. Putting the furniture together a home can be a little bit frustrating at times but I like everything I've bought from them.

Where would the world be without powerhouse IKEA. Have shopped there for years - everything from larger pieces of furniture to smaller pieces of decor. Always visit IKEA before Christmas for a stock up on Scandinavian Christmas decor (like candle lights for the tree), and goodies.

Ikea is one of those stores, you get what you pay for. When you're tight on money, it will do the trick. The couches are not super comfortable, but they look cute. Ikea is great for glassware & plates. I get lots of compliments on my cocktail glasses! I love that they are partnering with other companies for limited drops.

Was a little hesitant at first but their items are such high quality for the price! I love their picture frames and they always have something useful or interesting to get! The stores are a maze so you need to really know what you want to get!

Who doesn't love IKEA. Obviously not the greatest quality, but the best affordable, furniture out there. I would only buy storage, lighting, kids and accessories - anything like couches or beds I do not recommend, because they aren't that comfortable and the bed frames don't quite go together that well. My favourite purchases are the plant holders (which are beautiful).

I've bought their storage system and some dressers, as well as random items and meatballs. All a great price. Storage system is particularly great and flexible. I've never had a particularly hard time putting anything together.

I LOVE Ikea! Reliable furniture at a good price point with a very distinct minimalistic aesthetic. I could wander the store for hours. Also? The fact that they sell their frozen Swedish meatballs is amazing. I will say, I don't love the website the most and find it easier to shop in-store, which isn't often as accessible since they don't have warehouses everywhere.

I've never owned a piece of Ikea furniture that I didn't love. Some pieces are more complicated to assemble than others, but I employ my project loving husband's services for these tasks now. Even when I was single, though, I was able to assemble Ikea furniture on my own--it just took longer. I also didn't know that you could order furniture for delivery at a reasonable cost. As much as I do enjoy visiting the store, it can be difficult navigating the parking lot and picking up larger items. These days, I find the delivery fees to be well worth it.

Not as inexpensive as it use to be. But can still find great deals

Great selection of stuff and so far everything I've gotten has been high quality but I do think it depends on the product you get. Going to an IKEA is an experience and I love that about it

I can’t speak of other countries but IKEA presence in UK has been greatly disappointing on several occasions. 1. I had a faulty mattress and they were refusing to exchange it. I have spent a month arguing with different customer service representatives. In the end they gave me a refund, but it was a serious headache. 2. They have advertised a meal as plant based however after eating it we discovered it contained milk. Not only they failed to disclose the allergens, they falsely mislabelled it. No apology was offered despite the consequences it have caused us. 3. On a global scale, in the past IKEA has been caught using illegally harvested wood. Gives you something to think about, considering the other two points I made. Overall IKEA is lacking transparency and is not always what it seems. Buy it if you can’t afford anything better but don’t be easily swayed.

I have purchased several things from IKEA. We have one located about an hour's drive, so I don't go very often. I have shelving, which was a great price (still haven't put it up) and the main item I purchased was a mattress. It was a fantastic price, unfortunately it has a spring malfunction less than a year in, but they were extremely accomodating and didn't make me drive all the way back there, and delivered a replacement mattress, which I thought was a wonderful way to treat customers. I keep hoping they will open a store closer to me so I can go more often. Also, they have fantastic Swedish meatballs!

I currently have a desk, drawers, lamps, dining room shelf, tupperware, bowls, cups, full-length mirror, and kitchen cart from IKEA. I’ve bought furniture and home goods from them for 15 years, and they’re still dependable for affordable items. The furniture may not be the best quality, but I think you’re getting great value for the price. My IKEA bowls and plates are the sturdiest and have lasted through 6 moves without a chip or crack. I’ll be needing a bed and mattress for my guest room, and IKEA will be my first choice!

their furniture i would pass on just because it won't last on account of the particle board. their home goods and metal furniture are definitely worth looking at though

IKEA is my go to place for storage and organization items or tiny knick knacks.
