A lot of articles and social media posts on keto diet and products. This is one of them. Bottom line - don't buy it! Here's why The active ingredient in here is 1,3-butanediol - the "ol" at the end, makes it an alcohol, and it needs to go to the liver and have the liver convert it to the actual ketone ingredient - "beta-hydroxy-buyrate or BHB". This uses the same enzymes as when you drink alcohol, and can tax the liver. I tried multiple attempts are taking this product - and never felt like it did anything. I even tried to double my dose, still nothing. I tripled my dose and minor effect. IF you were to use exogenous ketones, go for the original product - Delta G Ketones. They use the actual active ingredient, no conversion needed. This is like rocket fuel and gets you into ketosis faster and keeps you there for a few hours. Yes Ketone IQ is cheaper than Delta G, and it tastes better, but i didn't work. IT also comes in plastic bottle, not glass like Delta G. Go for the real thing!
