Loved the marketing and the concept of ski gear created just for women, but the quality just wasn’t there so I returned both the pants and jacket. Maybe a good choice for someone who skis once a year and mostly for the photos, but not a great choice for anyone skiing more than a few days a year or in cold climates. Huge bummer because I loved their color selection! 

Edited to add: I just ended up getting a more traditional brand (Obermeyer) for way cheaper than Halfdays since it was end of season, and the quality is so good! Makes me feel like I made the right choice.

As a shorter curvy girl it is hard to find good ski pants at the right length as well as fitting my hips to waist ratio. After trying 10+ other brands, I finally found the perfect pair - in multiple styles. 

The quality is not as high as other brands at similar price points but for how they fit I would say it's so worth it. The range of colours is so fun too, although I just went with navy.

I will note to make sure you look at the material composition before buying their base layers though. They also offer a coupon if you exchange and select store credit – wish I had known that before placing a second order and returning some of the first items I bought in attempt to find the perfect size.

I’m obsessed with this brand. Their base layers are the only base layers I will wear. Great price point for the quality. 

Took me a while to decide to purchase and so happy I did. I have pants and jacket from Halfdays and they are stunning. I love the quality and fit. I do however find them to be on the lighter side, meaning I don’t think I would wear on freezing days. More for late winter/spring skiing. 

Found this brand through social marketing and was skeptical of how it would actually hold up on the slopes, and it did not disappoint. I recommend Halfdays base layers & ski sets to all of my friends looking for a chic and affordable snow fit!

i recently bought the emma ski pant in sage green and i love them! pretty stain resistant and super cute, great fit and good pockets! the material feels nice and it kept me warm. haven't worn them on a super cold day just yet but overall i really liked them and will continue to buy half days products for their fun colors and good materials.

I love my Halfdays jacket - literally was complimented on the gondola yesterday.  Looks expensive and most importantly, holds up to cold powder days in Tahoe. Second season of heavy use and holding up well so far.

My second order took a very long time to arrive due to international shipping to Canada. Customer service was slow to respond, but finally sent me a new package which arrived a few days later and gave me a partial refund. 

Lovely colors and design. I bought the yellow base layer and a set of skiwear. It's more suitable for skiing than snowboarding since the pants are slim and have no room for a hip protector unless you size up. Water resistance is good and the design is really chic. 

I would love to see some extended sizing / inclusive sizing in the future as well as more products to come from these guys! Returns are easy but the refund process is S L O W.

I LOVE my Halfdays Lawrence Jacket. It kept me so warm, even at 0°F on the mountain. There are little, thoughtful touches that make this jacket above and beyond other jackets - such as the exterior chest pocket with attached phone leash. I never felt like I was going to lose my phone when checking email on the ski lift! 100% recommend snagging one of their jackets (TTS in my experience).

I was so excited to use my new outfit. The colors and design are nice. But I was surprised when I washed and all the pockets on my jacket came unglued. They were poorly made. I used just one weekend. I don’t recommend buying this brand unless you don’t care if it is going to last.

I didn’t receive any explanation from the brand why it happened and because I bought at the sales they use it to not fix or return. It was clearly a problem of fabrication. So think twice!

LACK OF DIVERSITY that feels intentional – 
I do find it odd that Halfdays does not feature their POC customers on their social media. The only women of color are the professional models they feature in their photoshoots, but I've noticed even when it comes to Instagram stories and on their feed, they either A) avoid tagging creators / customers of colors even when they repost / use their content and B) only utilize a network of non-woc microinfluencers despite having a diverse customer base. Maybe it's a bias that they are unaware of, but my many female friends of color and I have noticed this absence and it is a little uncomfortable. 

I'm an early adopter and this is my 3rd snow season wearing Halfdays. Their ski / snowboard wear is AMAZING and I recommend Halfdays to all of my snow girlfriends. Not only are their pieces super functional and comfortable -- their technical construction holds up even in harsh conditions -- but everything is so flattering, cute and really fills a specific gap in the market that many of us snow ladies have been looking for. While they sold out of many colors and sizes their first 2 years, their supply chain / forecasting seems to have gotten a lot better and pieces were much easier to get for the 22/23 snow season. Overall, I'm so excited to see where the brand will grow.

Wish they had goggles, gloves, and socks too! Also wish the price point was a little bit more affordable

The web and packaging experience were so nice. Refreshing to see such fun colors. Wanted to see that reflected more in some of the undergarments. 

Just got a few items. Everything is SO comfy and fits great.  The quality is awesome. Super happy!!

Overall I love the ski wear from this company but I did have a very hard time getting my size right (was different between products). Luckily their exchanges were easy but I wish there was more consistency.
Besides the sizing issue they are very well made pieces that are beautiful.
