Good Time

I briefly freelanced for this company pre-launch and was an excited skeptic to try the shampoo and conditioner as a first-time bar user. That being said, OMG I LOVE THESE. Shampoo bar: Smells subtle, but great. Shocks me how well it lathers and how little you really need to wash your hair. Conditioner bar: Works best when applied directly to your hair. I had heard even from people who had used other shampoo/conditioner bars before that generally conditioner bars don't work as well as liquid ones, but this one shocked everyone how well it worked. I went in still a bit skeptical, but it really hydrates and makes my hair so soft. My fiance, who previously thought using conditioner was stupid, got out of the shower after using it for the first time and was so shocked and excited about how soft his hair was. Body bar: I've only tried the Big Sky fragrance, it's smells subtle but great and definitely leaves my body smelling great and feeling hydrated without the typical soap bar streaky feel.

AVOID the exfoliating body bar! Everything else I’ve tried has been great so far, but I feel this specific product should be pulled from their offered products until corrections are made to reduce damaging skin abrasion. Advertised photos reflect the exfoliating body bar as being safe for all area of the body, it even implies it in the name. However upon my first use, once the top layers of the bar lathered away, the exfoliation caused deep scratches on my legs. This continued even after I lighten the pressure, the scratches were just smaller and not as deep. They offered me a full refund for that product within an hour or so, which was very responsive for a Sunday. After my experience, I feel it pretty disturbing that this Cosmopolitan endorsed product is available at all for purchase, let alone a shaving bundle. I feel with minimal product testing before go to market, they would have known how damaging this bar can be on a person’s skin. Hopefully they will make the correction necessary before it damages their brand.

What a fantastic bunch of products from people that do good things the soap is fantastic smelling and the shampoo and conditioner bars are great for people on the go as sometimes bottles can be bulky it also arrived in a timely fashion in good packaging all of which is recyclable job well done

I have tried multiple shampoo/conditioner bars and they always mess up the ph of my hair, leave my hair greasy or give me dandruff. But THIS ONE, this is the best one I’ve used and even better than bottled shampoo. I have thick long hair and my hair has never been this healthy and shiny. I’ve gotten so many compliments about my hair! Not only does it do a great job of cleaning and hydrating your hair, but it’s also eco friendly, suds up very easily and will last so long. I will for sure be buying again once I use up my bars!

Good Time's bar of shampoo and exfoliator are innovative and they lather incredibly well! I was surprised that a soap bar had enough lathering for my hair. For reference, I have fine long hair. The conditioner smells amazing! I'll be a repeat customer.

Good Time is really top tier plastic-less bath products. The shampoo and conditioner have left my hair incredibly hydrated and looking great, and the body bars smell delicious and make me feel refreshed! Plus, giving back to the initiatives that do good for the world make me feel better while showering too.

The shampoo bar was washed well and left my hair soft. I did not like the smell at all, it smelt synthetic and too strong. I’ve been using shampoo and conditioner bars for a very long time and I prefer bars with a more natural scent.

I love everything about the idea of reducing single-use plastic bottles and emissions from shipping water-based products. This is what drew me to these products. But, I have very long/thick hair and I typically need expensive salon shampoos/conditioners otherwise my hair is a ratty mess. I was an unsure whether this would work for me. After 5 weeks of use.... The great news is that my hair feels softer and stays cleaner for longer with these products (now 4-5 days instead of 2-3 days). BIG WIN. And, it is fairly easy to comb out my hair after washing, no big tangles! Effectiveness is great. The downside is that it takes me 4x longer to wash my hair. I need to focus and work to get the lather going throughout my hair. Particularly for the conditioner since it requires soaking wet hair. I end up washing out the conditioner before I can fully coat all of my hair. It can be a bit tricky. For me, the benefits have been worth the extra work. However, if I'm in a hurry, I go back to my old stuff. You should definitely try this, particularly if you have thin or medium thickness hair. I was very pleasantly surprised with the results.

I came across Good Time whilst placing an order for toilet paper through Who Gives a Crap. I was interested to try the shampoo, conditioner & body wash bars as I travel a lot & solid bars mean more room in my liquids bag for face products! Not to mention no leaky bottles or tubes. I have loved using ALL of the products so far. The shampoo & conditioner bars have been a revelation - a little goes a long way & my hair looks & feels & smells great. The body wash bars are great & produce a lovely creamy lather to wash with. The bars are super easy to use & each one really does replace about 3 bottles of product! I love the mission & ethos behind this brand. The packing is fully recyclable & the products live up to their descriptions. Easy website to navigate. Highly recommended brand.

As a Who Gives a Crap subscriber, I was excited to see Good Time launch. The packaging is delightfully compact and efficient (easier said than done) while telling the story. And the 50% charitable giving is something this team has delivered on before, so I know they're going to make a measurable difference.

I'm over the moon in love with this incredible new personal care brand! I bought the bar soap trio which overdelivers on the promise of making showering a GOOD TIME! The scents are gorgeous and the soaps have a nice texture so they clean deeply vs. slip and slide over skin. I appreciate the commitment to sustainability too - no plastics, carbon neutral shipping, cruelty free, and 50% of profits donated to support clean water initiatives. Wonderful experience all around. 500 stars.

I tested out the Shampoo Bar. I was skeptical of what the scents would be as there aren't a lot of truly gender-neutral scents. But it was great! I was impressed with how much it lathered too, so I really didn't have to use a lot of it.

For someone who has Eczema, it doesn't leave my skin dry after a shower.
