Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • Love this brand. Use them in my everyday routine. I like that it is a well rounded brand and gives you that natural but cute look.

  • Glossier You perfume has become one of my go-to fragrances! The super subtle scent is perfect for working in healthcare and it has a “your skin but better” scent to it. I’m a huge fan!

Love the packaging and the fact that my order came in a makeup bag with stickers!

  • Love the design of the products, reasonably accessible pricing, fool proof application.

The products I’ve tried don’t have a ton of longevity - the old formula of balm dot com became oily after using for a week, and the mascara tends to dry out quicker than most formulas.

  • If there is a perfume, you need to try it’s the glossier you perfume. It smells so different on everyone and you get compliments everywhere you go.

  • I think some things from Glossier are really good but others are not the best. The cream blush and balm dot coms are really good. Some of their products feel like generic drugstore.

    Feedback

It’s kind of expensive and some of the products are not worth it as much as others. They are really light coverage and recommended if you’re going for the no makeup makeup look.

  • I have a few Glossier products now after wondering about the hype. It is worth it! I absolutely love the formula of my balm dot coms and my eyeshadow palette is awesome! Once I am done with my shades I can switch them out and order a new pan, and easily insert it into my cute tin. I love it!

    Feedback

I did not love the scents on some of my lip balms such as cherry, but other than that I loved the formulas.

  • I have been using Glossier for years. I love their makeup and face masks. I can not recommend the liquid eyeliner more. It is so easy to use, lasts a long time, and stays on. I wish Glossier was just a bit more natural/clean

    Feedback

Great products, cute packaging, wish it was a bit more natural/clean

  • Been buying from glossier for years and I tell everyone about them. I really love their mascara, moisturizers, cloud paint, balm dot coms and boy brow! I don’t wear a ton of makeup so it’s nice that it feels and looks natural. OH and I cannot forget about You. I was using just essential oils before I found You. and i get compliments all the time on it. It’s the only perfume I’ve bought in years.

  • I love a few of their products like future dew and glossier one. But I find that most of their product have little pay off, and I had an experience with their cleanser where I didnt find it really worked too well.

    Feedback

I would love for them to reconsider formulating their products for better payoff.

  • I love how light the Glossier makeup line is, and I am obsessed with their lip balms! I have been using their lip products for the past three years, and I will bring them wherever I go!

  • Glossier is just "meh." I am definitely someone who likes the no-makeup look, but some of these products do nothing. I like the Cloud Paints and feel they're the most "bang for your buck" product they have, but I'm more satisfied by other cream blushes on the market. Their Boy Brows get gloopy after only a few uses, making your brows look messy instead of that nice bushy look. I do *love* their Ultralips once I found a shade that worked for me, and it has become my everyday shade. Their Lash Slick was most disappointing. I have long lashes, so I'm not looking for anything astounding. But this gave nothing. It felt like I wasn't wearing anything and it looked like it too. It also dried up within a month of use. Overall not worth it for me.

If you're lucky to live near a Glossier store, go in to try their products. Everything is so hit or miss that you're better off trying in person to see what really suits you before buying anything.

  • I absolutely love this brand and the majority of the (makeup) products they put out. The skin tint in combination with the stretch concealer saved me from caking on heavy and dry product onto my acne-prone skin. I think this is such a good brand for an everyday makeup-learner.

  • The appeal of Glossier to me is its marketing; think easy, effortless, it-girl vibes. My favorite products are the Balm Dot Com (love the mango scent), Boy Brow, and Cloud Paint in Dusk. Their skincare, while packaged nicely, does not stand out to me in any way (ie there are more effective products for a better price on the market).

  • I like that they don’t have a ridiculous amount of products and they show and describe their products pretty well. The prices are good and the packaging is great. I love boy brow!

The amount of product in an item can go quickly meaning more frequent reordering.

  • The lipgloss is so moisturizing! And adds the perfect hint of color. I recommend it to everyone.

  • Glossier has been great for basics and easing in to make up! Everything feels very approachable and fool proof for the most part. I prefer their makeup to their actual skin care products, which I found to be over scented and low quality. Somethings feel almost useless but give the immediate look of makeup and disappear in an hour.

    Feedback

The basics are great, but the quality is on the lower end of good. Your makeup needs to be replenished fairly often, which generally isn't the minimalist beauty's idea of minimal. Prices are awesome though.

  • I have a few of their Balm Dotcom and it is my go to LITERALLY! I truly love the simplicity of the product. It is a quick and easy and just helps to give a little pick me up and glow.

I wish Glossier was sold at Ulta, Sephora or even target and not only on their website...

  • im a die-hard for the glossier you fragrance + the sun shield. the latter has a really gorgeous bright, citrus scent that unlocks a childhood memory of mine (i still can't remember which memory but it's there!) everything else is kind of hit or miss. the skincare is great for a younger person (i'm 30 and stopped using the cleanser and moisturizer at age 26 when i graduated to other stuff) and the makeup always underwhelmed me.

  • I tried the cream blush and I really enjoyed the natural flush it gave me. It’s definitely more of a natural look rather than a full makeup look but it’d be perfect for teenage girls
