    Health-ade

Take my review with a grain of salt if you're a big kombucha person. I couldn't stand the smell or taste of more ginger-y or acidic kombucha. Health-ade is a different story. It's like a guilty pleasure picking one up at Trader Joe's and then sipping it in my car after. My favorite flavor is Pink Lady Apple. It's crisp, it gives similar vibes to a soda but has the added health benefits.

I thought Scrub Daddy was a gimmick but it's the real deal. In particular, I love using the Scrub Daddy and Scrub Mommy, and their Power Paste. The Power Paste is my go-to cleaning product, especially with tough, caked-on dirt. The only product I don't like is their actual sponges. I believe the Scrub Daddy and Mommy have the best usability for cleaning everything, from dishes to your bathroom.

    Uniqlo

As someone who spends winters in Chicago, Uniqlo has been a godsend. Their HEATTECH turtlenecks have been a staple in my winter wardrobe since 2018 and for good reason. When taken care of properly, they last and keep you warm. Perfect for layering. I also really like their Uniqlo U tee shirts, which are sturdy and perfect for someone seeking basics.

    Feedback

Uniqlo sizing is odd and even the size chart isn't helpful. Clothing tends to be baggy and boxy. If you are near a store, I recommend going in to try. The pro of this is that if you purchase pants you can get them hemmed there— so it's worth it to go in anyways!

The quality of the jewelry is pretty nice but the prices make the brand inaccessible. For a brand who prides itself on making fine jewelry accessible to the masses, it does a bad job of considering what accessibility means. I've been satisfied with what I've gotten but I don't know if i would characterize this as an accesible brand.

This is a review for Faded I will keep it short and simple. It stinks but it does the job. Helped with clearing up my hyperpigmentation from skin picking but the smell is pretty foul. Still, the product was so effective that I want to buy more of their other products.

    Stasher Bag

I've been trying to be more sustainable. Stashed bags were the first purchase I made in this journey as it related to food and I was so happy I did! These bags are incredibly sturdy and easy to wash (you can hand wash or put in the dishwasher). I use them for everything— sandwiches, nuts, and even prepping food and storing it in the freezer. The different colors are also very fun and make it easy to keep track of in an apartment with roommates.

Buy a couple of different sizes when you first purchase so you can experiment

    The Ordinary

I'm a poor grad student and before that I was a poor college student. The Ordinary made sure that I could still take care of my skin. I really like their Niacimide + Zinc serum, which helped with my oily t-zone. I haven't purchased in a while and I've noticed the difference. It's reasonably prices and even easier to access now between it being sold at Sephora, Ulta, and flagship stores.

I wish there was a recycling program, especially at their stores. I have a collection of little bottles that I don't really have a use for!

Disclaimer: my acne is mild at best. But when I get a pimple, I reach for my Mighty Patch. I don't know if it makes healing any easier, but I do know that it stops me from picking at my face. I pick, scratch, and pop my pimples when I do work or feel anxious. I tried Mighty Patch with the hopes of alleviating this. It keeps me from picking and the satisfaction of peeling it off at the end of the day can't be beat. I also love their Lightning Wand for helping with my hyperpigmentation!

    Glossier

Glossier is just "meh." I am definitely someone who likes the no-makeup look, but some of these products do nothing. I like the Cloud Paints and feel they're the most "bang for your buck" product they have, but I'm more satisfied by other cream blushes on the market. Their Boy Brows get gloopy after only a few uses, making your brows look messy instead of that nice bushy look. I do *love* their Ultralips once I found a shade that worked for me, and it has become my everyday shade. Their Lash Slick was most disappointing. I have long lashes, so I'm not looking for anything astounding. But this gave nothing. It felt like I wasn't wearing anything and it looked like it too. It also dried up within a month of use. Overall not worth it for me.

If you're lucky to live near a Glossier store, go in to try their products. Everything is so hit or miss that you're better off trying in person to see what really suits you before buying anything.

    Poppi

I'll be honest. I wasn't enchanted when I first heard about apple cider vinegar soda. Anyone who's tried taking shots of ACV to help with your stomach knows that the taste is less than enjoyable. I picked up Poppi without making the connection and thought nothing of it. Since then, I have started buying cases of the strawberry lemonade flavor. It's delicious and gets that fizzy-drink fix I crave without making me gassy or bloated. Best of all, it is pretty high in fiber, making it easy to incorporate into my diet. I want to try more of their flavors, but the strawberry lemonade flavor sure sells me.

Try the cans individually (sold at Target, Publix, and Whole Foods) to get a sense of what you'd like before committing to a whole case.
