Reviews mention

  • Effortless, natural makeup effect
  • Beloved, compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Lightweight, comfortable textures
  • Iconic, chic packaging
  • Sheer, low‑coverage bases
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Occasional packaging fragility
  • Sticky gloss, drying lipstick

Glossier impresses in reviews for delivering easy, natural-looking makeup—standouts include Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the much‑praised Glossier You fragrance—while drawing criticism for ultra‑sheer coverage, inconsistent longevity, and packaging flaws. Reviews say the brand is good for “no‑makeup makeup” days and everyday scent, but skincare feels basic and shade range and recent reformulations (You, Balm Dotcom) disappoint some users.

  • i really like this skin care brand because it has an amazing feel to it! the ingredients are great for your skin and make you feel empowered.

  • For reference, I bought the products with my own money. I got the concealer-foundation set and the daily essentials set as well. I don't know why I was expecting it to be a bit bigger when it came, but the products I got were all pretty small. I got the G7 and G6 foundation and concealer, and it was pretty nice on my skin, it was breathable and not pore-clogging. The blush color I got was in beam, which complemented my skin tone, but there wasn't a lot in the tube. The lash-slick formula was also a bit disappointing as well I was expecting a bit more volume, but the formula dried up pretty fast on my lashes and was flaking badly. I kind of regret purchasing these products, I spent almost $100 just to end up with the results I have now from it. I lie to you not, the sizes looked like minis. Do not buy any of their skin products either! No offense, but most of the times I tried skincare from a makeup brand it never ended well for my skin. I wouldn't completely knock Glossier, but maybe try their other makeup products instead (lip tints, lipsticks, eyeshadows). I'm thinking of retuning what I bought.

I'd honestly recommend not buying Glossier. If anything, I'd suggest the foundation and concealer and MAYBE the blush but otherwise no. Do yourself a favor and go buy makeup from Ulta Beauty, even Walgreens, or Sephora. Maybe they do have some good products on their website, but honestly it seems like you're just paying for the brand and aesthetic of it. Please don't misunderstand or think I'm "hating" on them. Don't get me wrong I like Glossier, and I loved the brand's mission of "You look good" too! But it just doesn't show up in their products so far.

  • I’ve used a variety of products from the brand. Some things have become my holy grails while others have been total misses. But overall, I’ve really enjoyed most things I’ve tried from the brand and regularly use them. The Cloud Paints are my favorite thing - they look beautiful in their own but can also be mixed to create a custom shade. They blend so nicely and give a dewy finish. The Hydrating Priming Moisturizer is also one of my favorites. It’s incredibly smooth and soft, great for sensitive skin, and a little goes a long way. I’m also a big fan of the Boy Brow, the lip glosses, the Milky Jelly Cleanser, and the You perfume.

The packaging and branding is really lovely. I would say definitely read reviews before buying for specific products just because it can be very hit or miss. I find quite a few of the makeup products (Lid Stars, Haloscope, eyeshadows) to be pretty inconsistent in quality for the most part. I also feel that while I enjoy a lot of the skincare products, they are pretty overly priced for what they are / what ingredients are used. There are more effective and more affordable options out there although I do find the products themselves to be good.

  • Early Glossier adopter here. Really exciting to watch this brand take off the past few years. I wish they would be more transparent about product discontinuations (RIP Bubblewrap) and lean into a more sustainable/clean model but they make some of my favorite products, have gorgeous marketing campaigns, put out some innovative products, and are reasonably priced so I will continue to buy from them.

  • One of the standout features of Glossier is its minimalist approach to beauty. The brand offers a range of skincare and makeup products that are designed to enhance natural beauty rather than mask it. Many of the products have a sheer, buildable formula that allows for a more natural and dewy-looking finish. Glossier also places a strong emphasis on skincare. The brand offers a range of gentle and effective skincare products, including cleansers, moisturizers, and serums, that are designed to work together to achieve healthy, glowing skin. Many of the skincare products contain natural ingredients like rosewater, aloe vera, and hyaluronic acid, which help to soothe and hydrate the skin. In terms of makeup, Glossier offers a range of products that are designed to enhance natural beauty without looking too heavy or cakey. Some popular products include the Cloud Paint blush, the Boy Brow eyebrow gel, and the Stretch Concealer. Glossier has also gained a following for its sleek and minimalist packaging. The products come in simple, pastel-colored packaging that looks great on any vanity or shelf. Overall, Glossier is a great choice for those looking for natural, minimalist beauty and skincare products. With a focus on enhancing natural beauty and a range of gentle and effective skincare products, Glossier is a great choice for those who want to achieve healthy, glowing skin.

  • adore the perfume! so great and lasts a decent time.

liquid eyeliner runs out quickly and shame they only have black (would love a brown shade)

  • I love their cloud paints! I like their glosses and lip balms too, super nourishing.

    Feedback

I would like to see a more diverse shade range and more blush color variety.

  • I live for the Pro Tip liquid eyeliner and the Boy Brow! I love the pink packaging, and the product is nice as well. It was a gift that I got for the holidays a few years back and now I order these two items on repeat! Glossier helped to step up my makeup game in a low pressure way.

The Boy Brow is a small size, and runs out very quickly! For the price, I wish there was more product.

  • I haven't had much luck with Glossier. Their Boy Brow made me break out and their Balm Dot Com has always dried my lips out.

  • I have only tried glossier's concealer, but it is my absolute favorite. it offers light and glowy coverage that doesn't dry my skin out and I am currently on my third pot of the stuff with every intention to repurchase when I run out again.

If you're someone who likes heavier or matte coverage, you probably won't like glossier's concealer.

  • I wear the Glossier You perfume everyday since Fall of 2021. Not a single day since has gone by that someone does not tell me I smell great! This scent somehow manages to morph with each and every person to best complement them. It is officially my go to scent for the rest of forever!

  • I don’t use the skin care but the makeup is so good! I use Boy Brow religiously, it’s perfect for fluffy brows. Their concealer totally melts into your skin and doesn’t get cakey or crease. Love!

  • Fun branding. High shelfie score. The product itself doesn't feel high end and i've never actually been a repeat customer.

  • I absolutely love the mascara but the rest of the products were just meh for me. So I washed the tube and use the applicator because it’s perfect for my short lashes.

  • First exposed to glossier through my sister. Love the packaging, formulation and effectiveness of each and every product.

  • Absolutely love the skin tint. It’s a very lightweight product that just evens out your skin tone without looking like you have makeup on. You don’t have to use much.

Be sure to figure out which option best matches your skin tone.

  • I've used their lip balms and their glossier you perfume.

    Feedback

I absolutely love the smell and aesthetic. Perfume is my favorite!

  • I use their exfoliating body bar, deodorant, and body oil. Deodorant - 4 stars. Love the packaging + smell, but its a little "wet" going on. Body bar - 5 stars! Body oil - 3 stars with the miss being the packaging. Its a glass spray bottle that's hard to push down, and slippery oily hands + glass just do not mix. Def need a redo on this one!
