Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, no‑makeup makeup staples like Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, and the universally complimented Glossier You fragrance, which many call a signature scent. However, reviewers flag inconsistent makeup payoff and longevity, polarizing skincare efficacy, packaging flaws (leaking body oil, cracking lipstick caps, messy Cloud Paint tubes), reformulation disappointments (Balm Dotcom, You perfume), limited shade range, and some products feeling sheer, basic, or short‑lasting.

I don’t think this is worth the price! There’s a lot of other options that are not only better quality but also a better price!

I love Glossier. I have all their products, even the ones I'm not the biggest fan of. My favorite product, however, are the balm dotcom (the old packaging version I stocked up on), their milk jelly cleanser, cloud paint, & hand cream. A lot of it is because of their pastel pink packaging and the other half is their branding. I must say though I haven't purchased anything as of late just because there hasn't been much innovation in new products compared to other brands.
Love the branding by glossier. It’s simple and elegant looking. I’ve bought many products over the years… but most recently got their Stretch Face brush, their You deodorant and their You perfume. I love the smell of the perfume BUT I feel it doesn’t last as long on me? Or maybe its that I’m used it but a certain time. I keep hoping to find a perfume where I get asked about it and my response would be “oh this old thing?!” Then I’d give it away.. still working on that 🙃 The deodorant I was so surprised with. I’ve tried so many brands that sometimes work and then have no effect on me anymore. But not this guy! It’s lasts a good 24hrs… and I think sometimes even more. I was tell raving about it to my sister actually. Soooo highly recommend it if you’d had my issue in the deodorant department. And lastly the brush… not that I need it at all and it was the shape that really got me. Then the price 28? Sureee why not. But this thing is so fun to use and actually works really well at distribution the very little liquid makeup I use. Another recommend! Washing it isn’t really an issues for me. I just rinse off the product and leave it open upside down so the water doesn’t sit at the base. Oh! And I read some review claiming that it makes no sense bc when you open to use the brush it keeps closing on them… but maaaybe they don’t know that it clicks into place once you open it. 🤷🏽♀️
Glossier is such an amazing brand and has so many options. I also am so obsessed with the color and packaging of Glossier! My skin feels amazing after using their products and even with sensitive skin, I find no issues with their products.

Love their old formula of balm dot coms! I've tried swiss miss, mango, and cookie butter and cookie butter is actually a beautiful nude color! I did hear they change the formulation in order to be a vegan brand at sephora, and I've tested birthday balm dot com in the new formula and while it was equally thick it did not seem to be as hydrating. Kind of disappointing to hear, I may not repurchase moving forward although it's not bad for $14. Also love the cloud paints! I have storm and it's super pigmented on my light-medium complexion. So pretty as a cheek product and as a lip stain. The packaging does tend kinda "burp" extra product due to air bubbles, which isn't great when you only need the smallest amount to apply. I would still be curious about their other shades, even though I'm pretty sure one tube could last me a good decade lol
i love most of their products and they’re amazing for a minimal, natural, barely there look. but the one thing is with their skincare, i’m not sure how effective it was for my skin type and there’s better products out there for less but love the makeup i’ve tried from them
Absolutely love the packaging & scent of the hand cream. The fragrance made me feel like I was walking out of the salon after receiving a blowout. The squeeze tube is so fun. . My fave way to use the hand cream was just before bed. It became my signature sleepy time scent. The website claims the fragrance of the Hand Cream is a reimagined, fresher Glossier You. I tried the Glossier You Solid and absolutely hated it. It was giving old-lady-at-church vibes. When I reached out to see if I could return the product, customer service immediately offered to refund my money and let me keep the product. The customer service was exceptional. I gave the Glossier You Solid to a friend who didn't detest the scent.
I really love the perfume and I think it'll be a staple in my fragrance collection for years to come; however, the makeup/skincare side of things is a bit less desirable. I did really enjoy the stretch concealer but the appeal ends there - everything is quite watered down in terms of formula I didn't find that the makeup or skincare worked very well. Very basic and cute but that's about it.
This is a hit and miss brand but I like it better than elf. I have the pot of under eye concealer and love it. The glosses are great too. Some of the powder products I tried were not for me but overall a really great buy for the price point.
i love the Gen G lipstick and Skin Tint! really easy to use and i absolutely love how they look on the skin.
I love using the Futuredew product on my face for a glowy finish. It works very well under my makeup or just on its own. I also love Balm Dot Com. Tt makes my lips so moisturized.
Amazing concealer.
One of my favorite makeup brands!
sucker for the lip balm! i swear i have like 20 tubes lol

I miss the old applicator I find the new one tends to leak but this lip balm I swear will never run out

I've tried a handful of Glossier products. Most of them I have loved, but there was one lip product (I can't remember the name) that I didn't love due to the smell and how it went on.
the glossier you perfume, especially in the solid but also in the candle and regular spray, is amazing. love the scent so much! not super original now but still smells amazing and gets compliments all the time. i also love boy brow and have yet to find a better brow product for the price. the cloud paints are also good, great intro to blush.

I have enjoyed just about every product I have from Glossier. One key key factor for me is their makeup ingredients include zero pore clogging ingredients. You can always count on Glossier for not breaking you out! Their makeup is light and always leaves you looking dewy. My favorite is their concealer. Their skin tint is really nice, their brow gel is really nice, their blush is fantastic. Their skincare is actually extremely effective. & I think their prices are reasonable! I've been a stan of this brand for years & will continue to restock my products of theirs.
Used to love this brand and was an early adapter! I have noticed, however, with their collaboration with Sephora most recently that their products have really decreased in quality. From the packaging to their effectiveness and because of this, I cannot recommend this brand anymore. They have definitely sold into general capitalism, making the most by spending the least.
To be quite honest, Glossier has a cult following but I have thought they are just okay. I think it's pretty expensive for what it is, and I've gotten better lipstick with less color transfer for less.
