  • Effortless, natural finishes
  • Compliment‑magnet fragrance
  • Long‑lasting brow gel
  • Buildable, seamless blush
  • Sheer coverage complexion
  • Inconsistent scent longevity
  • Fussy, fragile packaging
  • Limited shade inclusivity

Glossier earns praise in reviews for effortless, “no‑makeup makeup” staples—Boy Brow, Cloud Paint, Lash Slick, Stretch Concealer, and the cult Glossier You fragrance—delivering natural, dewy finishes that draw constant compliments. Reviews also flag weaknesses: very sheer coverage, mixed skincare efficacy, packaging hiccups (leaking tubes, fragile caps), limited shade inclusivity, and scent or longevity concerns with You and some eye products; several note reformulations that feel less hydrating or shorter‑wearing.

  • Been using Glossier products for a few months now. Big fan of everything I've tried, the options on the site, and the samples I've been able to get with my regular orders.

    Feedback

I wish there were more sample options on the website. There are some products I'd love to try but samples aren't available and I don't live near a brick and mortar.

  • Glossier has great marketing and packaging. Boy Brow: it wasn't worth the hype to me - it smears a bit and feels heavy - I prefer the Benefit product. Lash Slick - definitely a soft look perfect for day, but I've had trouble with the tube where it feels like it will break when you put it back in. Perfume: lovely scent, I really like this one. Cloud Paint - fun to use but application is a little tricky to not over apply. Coconut Balm dot com - it's like coconut scented vaseline essentially.

It's a little pricey for some of the items (i.e. balm dot com, which just seems like scented vaseline). I also wish they would reduce some of their packaging, i.e. tissue paper, stickers, etc.

  • What stands out most about Glossier to me is the design. Really amazing branding and packaging design! I hope they continue to be a design-centric brand. Product wise, I think they make really good staples for a very natural, "no makeup" look, but I wouldn't say that their products are soooo innovative that you can't get a similar product from other brands. Price point is pretty good for what it is. My favorite Glossier products are is the Glossier You perfume, Generation G lipstick, and Balm Dotcom (the only matte balm I can find).

I know they are DTC but I wish they are more accessible for purchase. At the moment I would have to purposefully go to their website to order stuff or wait in line at a Glossier store with a bunch of teenagers. Even if they were to stock at other online retailers I would be more inclined to get their products, especially if it's a restock for myself. I would also love to see more sustainable packaging solutions for their products going forward.

  • I wanted to love Glossier but felt like the brand was made for teens and young millennials. The make-up products didn't last on skin long at all. They also don't seem to prevent aging. I gave them to my pre-teen niece.

  • I have the cloud paint in every single color and they are all beautiful. I love to mix two of the colors together and layer them. Applying with fingers is fine, however for the texture of this cream blush, I actually like to use a blush brush - I feel like it helps blend the cream onto my cheeks a bit better and it doesn't sink into the skin as much, for a longer-lasting effect. My two favorites to mix together are Dusk and Storm, for a really natural, slightly bronzed, flush.

Nothing! I've been using these for several years now and love them just as much.

  • Glossier is a cute, fun + affordable brand. I like their products, but they're not my go-to products for skincare/makeup. I've tried their serums, boy brow, and cloud paint products, and they're good, but not my favorites.

    Feedback

Their serums are a bit underwhelming compared to the other serums on the market. Their boy brow is fantastic + a good price point, but really small. I can go through a boy brow package in maybe 1-2 months. Cloud paint products are also fun, but underwhelming compared to other makeup products.

  • My two favorite products are balm dotcom and the you perfume. You smells amazing and balm dotcom is the best chapstick I've ever used.

Nothing that I know of. Big Glossier fan!!

  • I really enjoy the makeup. I find that all the products are designed with careful, thoughtful considerations. Didn't like their musky perfume but I love everything that's so easy to apply when it comes to makeup. I find the ingredients are okay in the skincare.

    Feedback

Their skincare can be improved but improving the formula. Don't find it effective at all.

  • I love the look and feel of this product. It makes me happy every time it arrives in a subscription box.

    Influencer for Glossier
  • Glossier is constantly impressing me. As someone who doesn’t like wearing a lot of makeup, it offers me enough coverage while still looking super natural. I have red hair and light eyes so sometimes makeup can be tricky for me. The balance between too red or just doesn’t match is tough - not with glossier. Boy brow + Haloscope are my ride or dies in my makeup back. At night, I love using the super bounce for some extra moisture in my skin routine. Highly recommend.

Could be affordable for certain items

  • Love their highlighter, and find the skywash eyeshadows cool too. Cloudpaint is also excellent, and I love wearing it. Super light weight and feels nice on the skin.

    Feedback

The Futuredew oil wasn't good on me at all - just made me look super sweaty, so I wouldn't purchase that again.

  • I mean it’s fine. The product is fine. Cute brand, reliable customer service and delivery but I wouldn’t be an avid talker abouter

Product quality. Perfume was a bit smokey smelling?

  • I know everyone already knows this, but Glossier's makeup-with-out-being-too-makeup-y products are just the best. Their mascara is the only kind that doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes and contacts, and the jelly face wash is delightful to use. I also love the blush (a perfect amount of flush) and, like everyone else, the boy brow.

  • What can be said about Glossier that hasn't already been said 1,000 times? Every new start-up is trying to be the "Glossier" of their respective consumer category. It's difficult to evaluate the products on their own merits when the mythos surrounding the brand is so strong and pervasive. Products I would buy again: - Milky Jelly Cleanser: very soft and gentle on your face, like rose-scented Cetaphil - Haloscope: provides the right amount of lit-from-within radiance without tipping into strobe light territory - Cloud Paint: soft, diffuse, but very effective liquid blush. I use this on my cheeks, eyes, and lips and a little goes a long way - Stretch Concealer: just enough coverage to blot out a zit but not to the point where it looks caked on and obvious - Generation G: "your lips but better" but like actually. Idk how or why but they really do just look... better - Boy Brow: perked my brows right up, made 'em very full and fluffy - Lash Slick: I wear glasses and can't use a mascara that does its job TOO well otherwise I end up with black smudges on my lenses. This mascara gives my lashes a boost without going over-the-top Products I would not buy again: - Priming Moisturizer: it was alright, but I've used better moisturizers from other brands - Zit Stick: didn't seem to do much for my pimples. My acne stickers are much more effective - Body Hero Lotion + Wash: was not a fan of the scent at all, very floral and cloying - Skin Tint: a common complaint, it basically disappears the moment you rub it in. You are buying air when you buy Skin Tint - Lidstar: pretty and glittery, but kind of one-dimensional. Might be nice to dab on top of a matte eyeshadow - You Perfume: pleasant, unoffensive, ubiquitous. A good intro scent for people just getting into perfume but I've moved on to more exciting fragrances - Balm Dot Com: it's just tinted Vaseline guys

  • Some products are definitely better than others. I like Boy Brow and Generation G. I'm meh about some of the serums. Having said that, I love the packaging and always feel drawn to the next new product launch.

I haven't found any product to keep coming back to.

  • I'm older than the target for Glossier but still enjoy some of their products. The mascara doesn't flake and is affordable, I like the lip products and the eye makeup remover really works.

I cannot stand the smell of the body wash/lotion. I don't know what it is - not for me.
