Reviews mention

  • Chic, luxurious packaging
  • Complex, bitter flavor profile
  • Versatile mixing options
  • Convenient, tasty canned spritzes
  • Punishingly bitter aftertaste
  • Murky, cloudy appearance
  • Short post‑open shelf life
  • Inconsistent flavor distinctness

Ghia earns polarized reviews yet proves effective for bitter, botanical non‑alcoholic sipping; many praise its complex, Campari‑adjacent flavor, chic packaging, and canned Le Spritz (especially Ginger and Lime & Salt) for recreating a cocktail ritual, while others find the taste punishingly bitter, murky, or one‑note and say it works better mixed. Reviews also note standout unboxing and gifting appeal but call out inconsistencies across flavors, short shelf life once opened, and sediment/cloudiness in the bottle.

  • Ohh Ghia Ghia Ghia. My love for this item is beyond. Ghia transports me to the Mediterranean in one sip. The bold and unique flavors takes my mock-tail from basic to fancy. The spritz has the perfect amount of bubbly and ghia. Always in stock in my fridge.

  • It's good! Very complex taste -- seems like an ideal substitute for a non-alcoholic cocktail.

  • I'm sorry I took one sip of this and almost spit it out. I really, really love the founder, brand and everything...and I do really like their Ginger drink in a can...but their main apertif flavor very much not my jam and I really wanted to love it.

  • I like the concept of Ghia so bought the concentrate and the spritz cans. For some reason I could not get into the concentrate but I really loved the spritz's. It was just easier to drink than to add stuff to the concentrate and have it water down.

Maybe the consistency of the concentrate could be better to make it seem like you are about to "mix" a cocktail (mocktail)

  • I’ve been drinking less so I’ve tried multiple alcohol alternatives but this one was too bitter for me

  • My favorite non-alcoholic option is by far Ghia. The flavors have the complexity of a cocktail when you're craving a drink or want to opt for a healthier option. I love the Lime and Salt flavor!

  • Packaging is nice, flavor is not. Maybe it's just me, but I found it hard to drink.

    Feedback

I'd suggest people try it before purchasing a whole bottle.

  • I love Ghia! It's my favorite alcohol substitute, and I've tried a lot. The canned drinks are much better than the bottle, in my opinion. The classic is the best-tasting flavor, though the ginger and lime are also very, very good. I think the amount of bitter vs sweet is just right.

Some friends have said they think it tastes like sugary seltzer water. Shipping can take a long time!

  • Ghia is great. I've tried both the bottle and the ready to drink can. Reminiscent of an amari it has herbal forward notes with lots of rosemary. It's got latitude (and attitude) and paired with orange and soda it makes for a perfect summer sipper. Or just grab a can of the lime Ghia and you're good to go.

If you like amaro/apertif etc then you'll most likely enjoy the flavor and taste of Ghia. I used it similar to how I would use a Campari or other herbal liqueur with great success.

  • LOVE the canned versions, especially the lime and salt version. The flavors are intense, so I appreciate the smaller sized can. They’re great on their own but also could be good as mixers with alcohol. I’ve also tried the aperitif and wasn’t wowed by it, but it’s the best tasting one of these non alcoholic “spirits”. The bottle has a lot of sediment at the bottom which surprised me, the consistency reminds me a fancy juice that needs shaking up. The big bottle is beautiful but it takes up a lot of room in my fridge now that it’s open; it could be nice to have it in smaller sized glass bottles.

  • The best non-alcoholic drink I've ever had. The taste is absolutely amazing, so bitter and satisfying. Lots of ginger, which I love. It makes my stomach feel settled which is a nice benefit too.

Once I can afford to buy this regularly, I shall.

  • I tried the lime and salt variety and love it. It has enough complexity to feel like you're enjoying something to be savored.

    Verified purchase

  • I really enjoyed Ghia. The look is great, and I love the taste. Likely will remain just a treat for me.

I wish it was a little cheaper - it's so bitter that you can't drink it solo, so by the time you have everything you need, it's pretty $$$.

  • My husband bought me these when I was pregnant. I really liked the idea of them, but the taste was only ok.

    Feedback

The flavors. They succeed in almost tasting like alcohol, but I could never finish a can (even zhuzhed up).

  • The Ginger Le Spritz is super refreshing with a hint of bitterness that gives it a bite. The labeling is also classy enough to blend in with canned wines.

  • I got the lime and salt in last week's thingdrop. I don't love the taste, but continuing to rate it higher for the overall concept and pacakging. I would be willing to try another flavor.

    Feedback

The taste seemed very artificial and too bitter, not like any cocktails with actual alcohol in them. It is also very expensive and I probably would not buy it withouth the thingdrop discount.

  • I tried the Lime & Salt flavor and was very impressed. I’m not super into drinking so it’s nice to have a non-alcoholic beverage to drink when I’m around friends! Highly recommend!

On the pricier side compared to competitors

  • I've been a Ghia fan for a cool minute riding the non-alcoholic drink wave. It's an acquired taste for sure with it's bitter herbs and extracts-forward flavor with background of Riesling grapes. I have tried both the Le Spritz cans and the tonic itself with mixers. For first timers, I definitely recommend a sweeter mixer, like a ginger beer or tonic water. The vibe and type-font is so utterly mod and I love that the creator is super friendly and cool.

Offer various sizes of the bottle

  • I love Ghia! The drink is tasty and can be enjoyed so many ways. I love the brand's whole aesthetic, it makes me crave summer always. The coasters that come in the package are so cute - I love using them for al fresco dining.
