Reviews mention

  • Chic, luxurious packaging
  • Complex, bitter flavor profile
  • Versatile mixing options
  • Convenient, tasty canned spritzes
  • Punishingly bitter aftertaste
  • Murky, cloudy appearance
  • Short post‑open shelf life
  • Inconsistent flavor distinctness

Ghia earns polarized reviews yet proves effective for bitter, botanical non‑alcoholic sipping; many praise its complex, Campari‑adjacent flavor, chic packaging, and canned Le Spritz (especially Ginger and Lime & Salt) for recreating a cocktail ritual, while others find the taste punishingly bitter, murky, or one‑note and say it works better mixed. Reviews also note standout unboxing and gifting appeal but call out inconsistencies across flavors, short shelf life once opened, and sediment/cloudiness in the bottle.

  • I finally bit the bullet and bought the Original Aperitif at Boisson. At first, the flavor was really unappealing to me because it's really bitter and doesn't really taste like anything I've tried before. But after a few sips, I grew to really like it. I'm not sure if I would buy it again, though, because it's hard for me to accept paying $38 but I understand that it's a premium product.

  • I LOVE THIS BEVERAGE!! Tried at sweet green and am living a sober lifestyle so I’ve been absolutely in love the cans!

  • I absolutely love the aperitif! I started purchasing this a year and a half ago, and it’s been a regular purchase for me ever since. The flavor of this is fantastic: complex and refreshing, with a satisfying bitterness. I like this with tonic or soda on ice and love the recent formula change to make it more concentrated—you now get many more drinks out of one bottle!

  • If I'm being honest, this drink doesn't taste very good. Maybe it's just not my cup of tea, I've tried both of their flavors though, and they are bitter and overpowering even when mixed with other things. I've had a couple of friends who enjoy the flavor, but not many. Might be a personal taste thing. I do really appreciate their branding and emphasis on fun non-alcoholic drinks, as well as cute packaging and marketing materials. Looks good on my shelf as well!

  • Tried these at work for the first time about a year ago. I love these Ghia aperitifs and mixers for drinks! They make lovely alcoholic drinks as well as dressings. We are especially fond of the ginger spritz!

  • Really wanted to love the signature bitter aperitivo and Ghia soda but they weren't for me due to the bitterness. The local shop I purchased them from (s/o Monsoon Market in Phoenix!) recommended I try the Lime & Salt flavor and they were right. Very refreshing, perfect for hot summer days.

  • Sorry but this stuff just doesn't taste good. I think it's popular just from reallyyyyy good branding and marketing.

  • As a big design nerd, I was so excited to try Ghia. Unfortunately I just really wasn't a fan of the taste and got bad heartburn after. I respect the complex profile, but it's too much going on for me. I paid $7.50 for one can and it was definitely more than what I wanted to spend.

  • Obsessed. Their Lime and salt flavor is to die for. It's so citrusy and zingy. I love how little sweetener there is, it tastes a lot like a margarhita.

  • Overall I love Ghia, their classic aperitif is a perfect base for both mocktails and cocktails. Their canned mocktails are also delicious and convenient.

  • I could see how people might like the apertif drink which is why I gave it 4 stars, but I personally wouldn't reach for it on the shelves on the again. I love the idea of finding the perfect NA drink, but it kind of tasted just like soda water and for the price was $$$

  • I love the spritzes, I keep them on hand at home for myself or friends when I don’t feel like alcohol. The original concentrate tastes great (I haven’t tried the latest relaunch), but not as easy to use with what I have on hand at home.

  • Ghia is my go to evening bev. I love having something special to drink at the end of the day without alcohol. All the flavors are great but my personal favorite is the newest one- sumac and chili! Perfectly spicy!

  • As someone who doesnt drink, I love that Ghia is now an option. It makes you feel like you are part of the fun and get to enjoy a cute cocktail without having to consume alcohol. Also as someone who is a designer, the packaging is just SO chic. My only hope is that more restaurants and bars start to carry them!

  • I never thought I would love a cocktail brand as much as I do. I love creating an after work drink with Ghia to relax after the day. They also just reformulated their bottle which made me nervous but I honestly think it tastes even better. Currently one of my fav items out there right now

  • Favorite flavor: Ginger I love these soda/spritzes over ice. They don't have a syrupy, or artificial sweetener tinge to them whatsoever. Don't let "bitter" scare you, but they're crisp and clean and so well bitterly balanced. I have wrapped a bow around individual visually appealing cans and gifted them with great responses. The new Ghia concentrate cocktail formula ratio I use is 3 parts Topo Chico to 1 part Ghia and the flavor is great. I think the concentration is strong for me affect-wise. A weekend of drinking that ratio left me feeling hazy and lightheaded/with a slight headache for a day or so afterward. I don't get that effect with the canned spritzes.

  • i was skeptical but ghia is pleasantly delicious and satisfies a large part of the satisfaction drinking alcohol brings. i like it best with sparkling water and a squeeze of fresh lime.

  • love these for an after work treat or during the day when i want something refreshing. love the taste of all of them, lime is my favorite.
