Garnier earns strong reviews for effective micellar waters and nourishing hair care that leave skin calm and hair soft and shiny, indicating the brand works for everyday cleansing and conditioning. Reviews also flag downsides: some shampoos feel greasy or underwhelming, certain formulas have strong fragrance, micellar water can struggle with heavy waterproof makeup, and there’s concern about animal testing.

I’ve tried quite a few products from Garnier and overall it’s one of those brands that’s really easy to trust for everyday use. It’s affordable, simple, and actually does what it promises without being complicated. Their micellar waters are probably my favorite. They remove makeup so easily and feel super gentle on the skin, no dryness or irritation at all. They’re designed to cleanse and lift dirt without harsh rubbing, which is why they’re so popular . I also like their Vitamin C products, especially for brightening. They’re lightweight, absorb quickly, and help give the skin a more fresh and even look over time.

Super happy with the result. This hair color was easy to mix and apply; everything you need is included such as gloves, spoon to mix, the container itself. Also liked that a shea butter hair mask was included. This hair color left my hair feeling smooth and healthy. No strange hair color smell, all very pleasant. The color turned out great and I'm super happy; would definitely purchase again. It also washes off the skin immediately after the first wash, so no colored ears or hair edges. Worth the money.

I use the Garnier Hautklar Niacinamide 3-in-1, and it honestly does what it says. As a toner, it feels refreshing and doesn’t strip my skin, more like a wake-up splash. As a gentle peeling and clay mask, it pulls out grime and helps calm redness without turning my face into the Sahara. The niacinamide really helps even out texture over time and makes my breakouts less dramatic. You do feel a light tingling during the mask step, but it’s not harsh. It’s versatile, budget-friendly, and easy to fit into a routine. My skin looks clearer and smoother with consistent use. If you’ve got combo and acne-prone skin like mine, it’s a solid three-in-one pick, just follow up with good moisturizer and SPF!

I don’t usually use Garnier products, but I tried the Hair Filler + Hyaluronic conditioner and was genuinely impressed. My hair felt incredibly soft, smooth, and hydrated after just one use. I’m not a regular Garnier user, but I'm interested in more of this line after trying this conditioner!

I'm not big on the shampoo of this brand, but I do like the hair masks from this brand. They leave my hair feeling smooth and smelling great. My preferred hair mask from the two I've tried is the avocado one.

Super easy to apply in the shower, and my hair feels noticeably stronger and smoother afterward. It’s affordable and works surprisingly well for hydration, especially for something you can grab at Target.

This is a pretty nice micellar water, I’ve never experienced any irritation or redness. It’s effective at removing makeup and waterproof mascara. All you have to do is put a small amount on a cotton pad and then swipe it across. Very minimal tugging and it doesn’t burn your eyes or anything. I like that it’s affordable because a big bottle of this lasts a very long time. I would recommend this for all skin types since it’s gentle but still very effective at removing all makeup products. I’ve repurchased it a lot of times!

Garnier’s holy grail: the iconic Micellar Cleansing Water (pink bottle). This stuff does it all, gently removes makeup, works wonders on sensitive skin, and is completely unscented. Honestly, you don’t need another makeup remover. This one’s it.

Garnier Body Superfood Repairing Butter deeply hydrates very dry skin for up to 48 hours 🌿. It absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy feeling, making skin soft and nourished. The rich formula helps restore moisture layers for long-lasting comfort. Perfect for keeping skin smooth and healthy!

Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water is a great budget-friendly option — it removes light makeup and dirt without irritating my sensitive skin 🧼. I love that it’s alcohol- and fragrance-free, so it feels super gentle on my eyes and lips too. But it doesn’t do the best job with heavy or waterproof makeup — I usually need a bit more effort 💧.

Garnier Bright Complete Anti-Acne Booster Serum is affordable and absorbs quickly, making it great for beginners 🌼. It helps with mild acne and brightening over time, thanks to the 4% niacinamide. However, it may not be strong enough for persistent or cystic acne, and the fragrance might not suit sensitive skin.

This was my first time trying this micellar water with PHA and glycolic acid, and I’m impressed! It gently exfoliates while removing makeup—no stinging, no residue. Plus, it’s super affordable and works perfectly with the reusable Eco Pads.

Hands down the best fix for dry, lifeless hair! This banana mask deeply nourishes and leaves my hair soft, shiny, and bouncy. It also smells sooo good—like a tropical treat for your hair! So recommended

This charcoal shampoo really delivers — it cleans deeply without drying out my scalp, and leaves my hair with a fresh, long-lasting scent 🌱. The cleansing feels thorough yet gentle, and the fragrance actually sticks around in a nice way. Perfect for sensitive or dull hair — refreshing and clean every wash! ✨

The watermelon scent is absolutely divine, it’s the perfect summer smell for your hair, the conditioning is incredible as well, I use it as both a conditioner in shower and a hair mask as well for extra moisture!

I'm not a fan of the shampoos they have, but the conditioners are worth to have. this one in specific is great if you have blonde hair and it lightens up during summer, although would use another shampoo for better results

I recently tried the Garnier Good Permanent Hair Color in Coffee Brown 5.0, and I’m honestly impressed. From the start, I loved how easy it was to apply: the texture spreads evenly and doesn’t drip, which makes the whole process a lot less messy. The smell is also much softer than other dyes I’ve used, so it felt way more comfortable to leave on. The result? A rich, natural-looking brown with beautiful shine. My hair feels soft and nourished, not dry like it usually gets after coloring. The formula has natural ingredients, and you can really tell. It feels more like a treatment than just a dye. I also noticed the color covers well and blends perfectly with my natural tone, leaving me with that “fresh from the salon” look at home. For anyone looking for a color that’s gentle, effective, and gives your hair that glossy finish, Garnier Good is definitely worth trying. I’ll be using it again for sure!

Garnier is an affordable hair care line. I have used their products often and find they are very helpful for issues such as frizzy hair or needing something to help my hair become softer. I do wish they had a few more options for oily hair; however, overall I think they have a lot of good products to offer a variety of clientele.

I use a lot of Garnier products. Their hair products will leave your hair so soft and smelling good. Their face wipes are amazing make up removers and will leave your skin so soft. Their products are affordable and works well. Definitely recommend.
