  • I love the buffer jelly oil for slugging. It goes on so easily, unlike vaseline and other occlusives. Unfortunately, it is such a small bottle for the price. I would buy again and again if it came with more.

  • I have looked at this range for years but only pulled the trigger after seeing it on Thingdrop. First off i have to say the packaging is fantastic. Buffer Jelly: I had a slugging product from another brand and i absolutely hated it, may as well have been vaseline. So this being a thinner slugging oil interested me. It does take some time to absorb into the skin but at least it does and doesn't just sit on the skin and oil up your pillow case.. Moisturiser: I normally use Dieux Instant Angel, this is similar in some ways as it feels moisturising but is probably a bit lighter and not as silky or rich. I will be using this on more in the day time. I do appreciate the metal tube as well. Lip Balm: Time will tell. So far feels like a pretty standard hydrating lip balm. Tube seems rather small. Hydrating Serum: The serum is super tacky which i wasn't expecting. Reminds me abit of the snail mucin products i have tried from other brands before. Have to use for longer to really see if it overtakes my prequel hydrating serum or not. Overall i think its a nice range, probably more suited to younger skin than mine but i think for the pricepoint its a good option

  • This is a super cool product - nice occlusive product for the winter months with a cool jelly texture. A bit gooey though, so it sometimes gets on pillow cases. you only need a bit, so it lasts a long time.

  • I have tried nearly every product in this brand and they truly do not miss. It is a one of a kind brand that makes one of a kind products. Truly incredible formulations of their products. 10 out of 10 recommend.

  • I purchased a 1 oz bottle of the buffer jelly through ThingTesting for a steep discount. Overall the jelly works well for slugging at night. It applies easily, more liquid that a traditional petroleum jelly. Though the product is expensive at normal price, it has lasted a long time.

  • Pleasantly surprised I wasn’t expecting much when I bought this using a Thingtesting discount, but after trying the regiment for a few weeks, I can confidently say that their products will permanently be in my skincare routine. I’ve originally heard about their silicon face mask, so I bought that, the serum, the moisturizer, and the oil. The face mask is a smart idea and pretty good, but doesn’t fit my face very well. I appreciate their commitments to sustainable living. I have really dry skin, and every winter it’s an uphill battle. But so far this year, my skin has been REALLY happy. I’d pretty much lost hope in all moisturizers but this one actually did something for me. In the permanent rotation for sure Also it’s super interesting that they develop their own formulas (not purchased from a beauty conglomerate) the barrier serum is a great case study for other brands on how being honest about how your product works/is will allow people to adjust their expectations and not be upset or caught off guard.

  • The buffer jelly is very effective as it doesn't upset my skin when I use it and provides a satisfying texture. Its a nice final layer that feels like it seals in the products I put on after. However, the price is quite steep for the size of the product. The bottle is tiny and I was very suprised and felt a little cheated when it arrived despite buying the product from a Thingdrop so I had a discount.
