Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

I've been a customer from the beginning and have many many products. Generally high-quality.

Cute but classic designs, quality materials, decent customer service.
Crazy high quality at an unbelievably affordable price. Everlane's denim sets the standard and the cashmere sweaters are worth three times the price. This is my one-stop-shop if I need to put together an entire outfit; their shoes are so cute, trendy, and lasting quality.

Color variations would be nice, but I also love the range of neutrals!

Really awesome products but customer service and shipping are ok. I preordered a bag from Everlane and waited over 2 months for them to ship - turns out they were BACKORDERED on a PREORDER and delayed the shipping because they oversold their preorders. Would I order from them again online? Probably not. Would I purchase an item in a brick & mortar store? Would definitely consider. 6/10.
Feedback
Better customer service, transparency on preordered items.

Would have given this 5-stars pre-pandemic, but the union busting behavior is gross and their sizing is a little all over the place now. Still has some of my absolute favorite pieces though. There are a lot of misses, but when Everlane gets it right, it's one of the best clothing manufacturers around.
I love Everlane and buy most of my clothing there now. The fit on their jeans and pants are so flattering, especially in the booty. They're great for basics but also put out some really unique but wearable items. It's not fast fashion, and you will pay more, but I think their price points are still reasonable, especially because the clothing holds up. I've had items from them for years that do not show much wear and tear.

Sometimes I wish they'd keep some items around longer/permanently. I have a cardigan that I absolutely love from them and would love to get it in more colors but it was discontinued.
My favorite. I get most of my clothes here now. I wear the Alpaca Crew sweater almost every day. And their jeans are the only I buy now.

I just wish they'd bring back my favorite shoes so I can wear them again.
Easily my favorite brand. I love the brandless nature of their products (though they have started adding a small "E" to things) and the build quality. I have multiple backpacks, tees, hoodies, etc. from Everlane and they have been staples since the day I got them. Price is a little high and can be sporadic? The sales are amazing but some of the other products are $$$$.

This brand is anti union which is gross IMO. The clothes themselves are ok but nothing incredible. For the price point, go to a union made alternative!

Stop being anti union!!!!!
I’ve purchased several things from everlane. The pants are weird overall. Weird fit, weird sizing, weird. I love the IDEA of their clothes more than the actual clothes. I’ve tried pants, tops, and basics. Not their shoes (I’ve always been curious about the glove boot and everyday heel but haven’t felt bold enough to spend the money to test it). Everything is hit or miss, except their tees and tanks. I would recommend shopping for BASICS here only. Tees and tanks. Their tees fit so nicely, they’re so soft and high quality, and I feel the price point is fair. They wash well and can be used as a layering piece for any occasion. I want them to prove me wrong about everything else :( their other clothes is beautiful to look at but not so flattering for my body type (36DDD/ size 10-12/ muscular/thick legs/ and I have a lil belly action 😂)
Feedback
Fit and sizing for pants and blouses.
Comfy flats that are good for a lot of walking, and they're priced right.

More styles would be appreciated -- there aren't too many to pick from.

Love the brand’s look and feel. Products are high quality and understated.
I like Everlane but it's always a gamble. Some things fit weird and will lean toward being boxy or the quality of one item will differ greatly from another. A great brand but hate when things can be inconsistent.
You definitely arent shopping here for flattering clothes. Lets face it, it’s expensive basics. I love their mission and sustainable efforts but all of the clothes seem sort of blah. The quality is amazing though, just not my style. Everything seemed like it was cut in the least flattering way
I want to like them, but mos things don’t fit well. Especially the jeans. I have bought a few things from here as presents, but personally I haven’t found as much as I’d like.
Great styles, bit pricey!

Everlane has a great brand, great website, and great in-store experience. I like their approach to sustainable clothing and uniforms.

I've only ever bought one thing from Everlane: a cotton black t-shirt. I buy a lot of black t-shirts, and the Everlane one isn't great. It feels very basic, it collects lint very quickly, and these days I just wear it to work out.
Everlane has become my go-to shop for essentials, and it's hard to argue that they don't achieve their goals of quality, value, and transparency. Nearly everything I've purchased from Everlane meets those goals, and though I've definitely not tried everything, I'd be confident buying anything from them. Special shoutout to the denim, which is unbeatable.

If I had to nitpick, some of the products are not up to the same standard of what I mentioned above, like the underwear, which is overall just fine, with nothing exuding an air of higher quality for price vs. other low-cost brands out there. I totally understand the desire to become a one-stop shop, but I think releasing items before figuring them out completely isn't a way to continue achieving the mission.

Such a great space for basics. There's an Everlane nearby and I also end up going their for the essential's, great quality tees and jeans.

Wish they would offer more curvy and tall sizes.
When Everlane first launched, its products were the next American Apparel. Great quality and exactly what you needed. Well, just like American Apparel, the quality has gone downhill since its inception. Some great basics.
