Reviews mention

  • Durable denim construction
  • Soft, luxurious cashmere
  • Minimalist, timeless aesthetics
  • Comfortable everyday pants
  • Inconsistent sizing accuracy
  • Boxy, unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin, shrink‑prone cotton tees
  • Narrow, blister‑prone footwear

Everlane proves a reliable source for well-made basics, according to reviews of Everlane, with standouts like Way‑High Jeans, Classic/Cheeky denim, cashmere, alpaca sweaters, and utility/barrel pants that hold up and anchor capsule wardrobes. Reviews also fault inconsistent sizing and boxy, unflattering cuts, variable fabric quality (thin tees, shrinking/pilling), and a drift from earlier simplicity—plus ethics concerns (union-busting) and limited size inclusivity—making the brand hit-or-miss depending on the piece.

  • Everlane is so hit or miss. I love the bags, shoes, and certain special pieces. But I find fit to be inconsistent and mixed results after washing. I love the simplicity and selection, though.

Fit consistency and durability after washing

  • Honestly, I find their clothing be to kind of hit or miss. I’ve really enjoyed their underwear and jeans, though. These days I tend to shop there only when there’s a sale, because then it’s worth it.

  • At first I was taken with this brand. There's lots to like. Clean, unbranded apparel basics, decent prices and sustainable manufacturing process. I've purchased t-shirts, sweaters, pants and shirts from Everlane. Their underwear is the best fitting and most comfortable I've tried at similar price points.

One thing I found after wearing Everlane products is that they don't seem to last for me. My navy chinos began to fade at the thighs; my boxer briefs are showing tears at the seams. Granted this is after half a year of wearing, but somehow I felt as thought the clothes should last longer.

  • I only find a few things at Everlane like I like, but they always become staples. I love how affordable their cashmere is and they're my go-to sweaters.

  • Amazing quality for amazing basics. Love all of my purchases from Everlane. The cashmere collection is great!

Very unisex. Nothing is too feminine or masculine. Would be great to see a couple of their amazing quality designs lean in a direction every once in a while.

  • Simple, but some really high quality and modern casual clothing. I buy almost all my clothes from everlane these days!

    Feedback

More diversity in the clothes. Also the website will list each color of an item as a separate item to make them look like they have more stuff but it just makes it difficult to navigate.

  • Great for basics and the mens uniform collection lasts a very long time and quality stands up.

Still could be more sustainable and release less clothes at a time. Sometimes it feels like they are fast fashion still.

  • I find their shorts to be really comfy and like that they now have an in-person shop in NYC.

  • I am a tried and true Everlane girl. I’ve been shopping with them since the beginning, admiring their “radical transparency” mission and their minimalistic branding. At one point, more than half of my closet used to be items from there. Solid spot for basics and when they expanded to jeans, shoes, etc - I made sure I bought items at nearly every launch. Not sure why but over the last few years, the quality started to deteriorate, especially with their basics. I honestly don’t shop here anymore unless there’s a sale going on. Still adore them though but just not my go-to anymore.

    Feedback

Improve quality of items. I feel that they rushed into expanding the quantity and variety of items, which then led to less quality control.

  • Beautiful, classic clothing. I go to Everlane for so many wardrobe staples. Incredible in-person shopping experience. It feels like an apple store meets a smaller design boutique.

    Not a darn thing!

  • I've shopped with them since their beginning and have generally enjoyed the fabric quality and fit - I do think their prices have gone up substantially, especially where they started with being price transparent/cutting out the middle markup.

Understanding the price of a garment and why it costs a certain amount.

  • I’ve been shopping at Everlane for years. Their clothes are timeless and they last incredibly well. I love their price transparency and efforts toward sustainability. The fit and quality are top tier.

  • I really like Everlane’s mission and capsule wardrobe feel, plus their 100% Human line.

They could be a bit more size inclusive and find their pants not easy to find a good fit - I’m a size 12 for reference.

  • Great quality and customer service. Clothes are sustainable and affordable. Cute for basics and jeans.

  • Very high quality clothing that actually gets better with each wear.

    None!

  • As a university student who is starting to invest in quality clothing items that will work in the business world as well as outside of it, I turned to Everlane. I love the pants and blazer I got! The barrel pants are the most comfortable I’ve found.

I would appreciate a student discount:)

  • My go-to brand for affordable and sustainable clothing. These pieces are timeless and will be in my closet for years to come! Everlane has some great sales throughout the year which brings down the prices even more!

Some of their sizing can be inconsistent from style to style.

  • I recently bought Everlane's weekender bag and could not be happier! It's truly the best addition to your weekend getaways and can be carried on a flight in addition to your carry on.
