Reviews mention

  • Durable cashmere sweaters
  • Flattering cheeky denim
  • Minimalist timeless designs
  • Soft comfortable fabrics
  • Inconsistent sizing across styles
  • Boxy unflattering silhouettes
  • Thin sheer cotton tees
  • Occasional quality fluctuations

Everlane earns largely positive reviews for durable, minimalist basics—especially cashmere sweaters, Way-High and 90s/Classic Cheeky jeans, alpaca knits, and sturdy backpacks—suggesting the brand is good for timeless wardrobe staples. Reviews also flag real drawbacks: inconsistent and often boxy fits, variable and sometimes declining quality in cotton tees and newer drops, limited size inclusivity/lengths, and controversies around sustainability claims and union-busting.

  • Everlane is a really great brand with high quality items! I have a some basic tees from them and they are still in great shape after many washes! The company it’s self is very great as well, they care about human rights and are extremely transparent in their business which is really great to see! The stores in nyc are also very cool to check out!

I would love to see even more clothing options! This brand is so great I would buy my whole wardrobe from here if I could!

  • I purchased an Everlane jacket years ago and love wearing it just as much now as I did then. I love that the brand focuses on quality basics that will last. I do wish they had a store in Toronto so I could try on pieces before committing/paying for shipping.

    Open a store in Toronto!

  • Great products, well made and amazing prices. I love their site too. I've purchased many items including jeans, t shirts, sweaters, sandals - all have lasted through multiple uses and washes. Highly recommend!

Love this brand and what they stand for, love that they come out with new drops frequently and especially like their basics (t shirts, sweaters, jeans).

  • My go-to for clothing. Great return policy and customer service.

  • Great looking basics and good quality. It is a recently become a bit more on the expensive side as new seasons come out.

  • I love that this brand is sustainable and shows you in every which way. The price range varies heavily.

Some items don't give great shape, and are a little boxier.

  • I've been a huge fan of Everlane since they launched years ago. I get all my basics here, and it feels like higher quality than other 'basics' brands. I'm also a huge fan of their sweaters!

  • High quality basics. I'm a fan of it over uniqlo for some items. Overall, they've got a great online shopping portal, they handle upcoming releases, returns and overall display of products really well. Great site to check out for basics.

  • Great, comfortable clothing to curate a minimalistic, timeless clothing capsule. A lot of their items run big so I typically recommend sizing down.

I’d like to see more transparency on their practices that make them a sustainable clothing company.

  • I love Everlane. I love that their products are sustainable, I love shopping in the store, and the items are really great quality. The designs can sometimes be a little boring in my opinion, but it is great for basics.

  • Everlane makes decent basics with some level of transparency in their manufacturing process. I do find that their sustainability initiatives don't go far enough and their pieces can lack uniqueness. It makes it difficult to justify spending $100 on something I can likely find a good version of second hand.

Be aware that the products are truly basics and not revolutionary! Maybe take the time to go to your local thrift store to see if you can find similar pieces there.

  • I’ve been a huge fan of Everlane for years. I used to get most of my basics and casual work clothes from here. Over the past year or two the quality of items I’ve bought have gone way down hill. Sizing has also been way off. Not sure what’s going on but I’ve unfortunately had to search elsewhere for certain items.

  • I like this brand a lot but they don't have a lot of variety. I really enjoy my leather tote from them but their clothes is too limited for me. The leather tote is so gorgeous and such high quality.

  • the experience was awesome, well until getting the product, the fit wasn't good for me, and I really wanted to become an everlane addict, but doesn't look like it will get there. love the way they present everything, I felt comfortable even while just shopping, very trustworthy experience, return was easy and tpainfree. would consider trying again.

great work on the overall experience.

  • Made many purchases on Everlane. While not the most inexpensive clothing line, I really like their quality. Their clothes last and retains their shape. My look is more classic which they have a lot of items that fits that bill.

  • I first fell in love with Everlane after buying two pairs of jeans through consignment - they instantly became my favorites. It wasn't until I came across an Everlane store in DC that I bought direct, and got another pair of jeans, a linen shirt and a swim suit. They were a little more than what you would pay somewhere else, sure, but I feel like they are great basics to invest in with higher quality and longer life in them.

  • Love everything I own from everlane, especially their sweaters. They're so soft, hold up well and are sustainable. Can be on the pricier side but I just wait until they have a good sale

  • i’ve yet to buy something from everlane without getting it in another color. everything is so high-quality & versatile—equally as fit for the office or the weekend. impressed with & appreciative of their price transparency as it relates to environmental & labor conditions!
