Reviews mention

  • Effective exfoliating mask results
  • Hydrating, luxurious moisturizers
  • Potent brightening vitamin c serum
  • Gentle, non‑irritating cleanser
  • Bulky, wasteful plastic packaging
  • Sticky, metallic vitamin c texture
  • Messy, watery bronzing drops
  • Harsh acids for sensitive skin

Drunk Elephant earns mixed-to-positive reviews: many users see real improvements in glow, texture, and hydration from standouts like Protini Polypeptide Cream, C-Firma/C-Firma Fresh, Virgin Marula Oil, B‑Hydra, and T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial, while playful, hygienic pump packaging appeals. However, reviews also cite frequent downsides—overpriced feel, bulky plastic and hard-to-empty packaging, sensitivity reactions or breakouts (especially with Babyfacial and some moisturizers), inconsistent results, greasy textures, and bronzing drops that can be messy or clog. Buy if you want clean, active formulas and iconic heroes; skip if you have very sensitive skin or dislike heavy packaging and premium pricing.

  • Not good skincare :/ Every time I've tried this brand, I've broken out or had a bad reaction! Huge bummer.

    The formula!

  • I love this brand. I received it as a gift and was so excited as it is a bit pricey for me to buy for myself. The detangler spray is amazing- it’s not just kids who need a detangler spray! I would go way too long without hair cuts so my ends needed help being detangled when my hair got too long, and Drunk Elephant was so helpful.

  • This is my absolute favorite skincare brand! Yes it’s expensive but it feels so nice on your skin and it gets the job done. I have so many of their products and I love it and want to buy more. If you buy 1 thing, buy the lip balm moisturizer. My lips have never felt better and it smells so good. It’s also possibly their cheapest item besides travel/trial sizes.

  • I love the Protini Polypeptide moisturizer. I've been using it for years during the day and it keeps my skin moisturized and doesn't cause any breakouts. Occasionally I'll add a bit of the bronzing drops in with my moisturizer to get a subtle glow. I also love using the TLC Framboos Glycolic Acid Night Serum. I typically use it a couple times a week and it helps get rid of any scarring and keep blemishes at bay.

Products are a little pricy but definitely worth the splurge!

  • Addicted to the protini cream and absolutely love the masks. They really work. But the vit c serum is not the best in the market.

  • I received B hydra intensive serum & the C firm serum as a gift from a friend. Im in my 50's Im always looking for something to work. I definitely say a marked difference overnight with the B hydra serum. I absolutely love it.. My skin was noticeably smoother, smaller pores and soft. I would for sure use their products again

  • I expected way more from this brand, some of the products are great, but there are similar products that cost much less

    Feedback

The price point is not worth it compared to other brands that give way more results.

  • I’m a skincare junkie and I personally found Drunk Elephant’s products not worth it for the money. I really wanted to love the products, as the website makes it seemingly easy to see what products work for what conditions, and I love the brand identity and marketing. But the moisturizers I bought really didn’t work well for my normal skin type.

Nothing in particular to improve but the products weren’t for me!

  • I've been using a plethora of DE products for a few years now. Protini Polypeptide Cream has been my go-to for a few years, I've sampled other brands but always find myself reaching for the Protini. I have very combination, acne-prone skin and the Protini has worked well for me in all climates and year round. I also use the Jelly Cleanser, which leaves my skin feeling clean without drying it out. These two products have truly revolutionized my skin. I just started double cleansing, so would like to try their butter cleanser. I've also used the minis and while the TLC, C-firma, and Marula oil are all fun and feel luxurious, I haven't noticed a dramatic enough difference to splurge on their full-sized siblings. Considering the new Resurf lactic acid serum as my next test... would love to know if anyone else has tried this newbie!

  • As a makeup artist and skincare enthusiast, skin prep is everything — and Drunk Elephant continues to deliver products that elevate both skincare and makeup performance. 💧 Virgin Marula Luxury Facial Oil-this oil is liquid gold . ✨ T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacial Soin Lissant Visage-This is a transformative exfoliating mask — a true “facial in a bottle.

  • The new brightening drops are a GAME CHANGER. They make me look like I have a highliter on when I don’t and I love it

  • Drunk elephant may be a very expensive product to buy. However the application and results are totally worth it. Make sure you’re siding small amounts so you don’t run out quickly. The only downfall with their products are treat they do offer travel size and minis - but they are still expensive. High quality and worth the money in my opinion.

  • Great products. I love the simple packing as well.

  • This products I’ve tried are so good! Definitely a luxury product for sure I hope to try more!

  • Overpriced but admittedly I do like a lot of their products

    Feedback

Pricing is a little farther north than I think it deserves to be but the protini cream is fab

  • I tried their littles pack a couple of years ago and wasn't blown away as they claimed that in one month your skin would transform but I do specifically love the jelly cleanser, the bar cleanser duo and the Lala retro cream.

    Feedback

The products are quite expensive and I do think there are alternatives on the market at lower prices.

  • Super soothing on my skin!! My favorite products are the the polypeptide cream and the hydration serum. I have purchased these products many many times. My skin has never been softer!!

Get products made for your skin type. It is too expensive to just get random products.

  • I have tried the baby facial by drunk elephant and it’s absolutely amazing! It’s like getting a facial at home for a fraction of the price! Will leave your skin feeling smooth and clean!

  • I started using Drunk Elephant after getting a sample for the vitamin C serum and got hooked pretty quickly. The vit C serum worked really well for my skin type (normal, with the odd spot now and then). I now also regularly use the c-tango eye cream, Umbra tinte SPF, D-Bronzi Drops and Marula oil, all of which are working really nicely for me. The packaging, colours and non-toxic ingredients are a big plus too.

    Feedback

The prices are punchy! Worth getting samples if you can, as not all products are worth the hype (e.g. Protini polypeptide cream texture/formulation did nothing for me).
