Decent garment quality. Didn't like the fit after while.

One of my go-to fashion companies. Beautiful, well crafted clothing. Their parent company is H&M, which means they are aggressively investing in sustainable fashion in order to offset their fast fashion model. 

Noooo because the way I am OBSESSED with COS. They truly can do no wrong in my eyes. If i'm ever in a fashion slump, COS pulls me right out. I have purchased soft t shirts (fitted and oversize), sumptuous sweaters, and swimwear from here. The latter is really surprising, I bought a bikini in 2016 and still have it because it's just that good! But the real treat is jewelry. I'm always finding a great earring here that feels super high quality. I also am a big fan of their merino wool turtlenecks- they have the perfect amount of sheer to them that's still work appropriate but fun at holiday parties too.

Cos is an amazing clothing brand that offers clean cut, luxe items. The items feel very upscale and chic. 

Terrible service. I have returned my item because it didn't fit, was to small + the quality for 270eu shoes was really poor. It's now over a month since my return and I still haven't received the refund. The costumer service doesn't want to help and tells me to contact Klarna the service provider they use. Klarna is completely ignoring the case and constant telling me they tried to contact me when I haven't received anything and asks to wait for the other team member to contact me. So its just complete waist of time and energy on some not doing there job and for not following there terms and conditions!

The fit of their t-shirts doesn't work so well for me. I guess I don't live up to tall / skinny Scandinavian standards!

I'm a big fan of COS. I love their minimal, Scandinavian look. On a personal note COS also got me through a tough time... I was in Madrid earlier this year and had my phone pic-pocketed. I was feeling frustrated, angry and down. My husband suggests popping into COS. Before I know it I'm walking out wearing an all-new outfit and feeling a thousand times happier. 

I prefer natural fibres but black cotton does tend to fade over time and many, many, many wears. However, that is easily remedied with a box of dylon every so often.

I would also say that the bulk of the pieces need to be tried in in store. The sizes in my own closet vary from XS-L.

I’m a fan of COS because the aesthetic, palette and silhouettes are ideally suited to my style and at an accessible price point. The term sustainable though? That is absolutely greenwashing. COS belongs to the H&M stable which is responsible for a significant chunk of fast/disposable fashion so do I feel a little dirty when I add a COS piece to my wardrobe? Yes. But, do I try to make sure I avoid treating those pieces as fast fashion? Also, yes. 

Cos is owned by H&M. For all their progressive and sustainable branding, the money goes straight back into fast fashion at the end of the day. It’s embarrassing because this brand proves that H&M understands sustainability principles but just doesn’t care enough to implement them across the board. 

Their designs and fabrics are nice, but I will only ever buy them secondhand because of the ethical issues surrounding fast fashion.

I used to love COS in the beginning. Their clothes had impeccable quality with heavy cottons, fine materials and tailoring but the quality only went south over the years. Not too sure about the true sustainability impact as they still produce in Asia and it’s not clear which fabrics are organic and if fair labour along the whole supply chain in ensured. It’s still H&M at the end.

COS is one of my go-tos for clothes. They have everything I need for my day to day, work outfits, going out looks, etc. It’s more expensive than I’d like, especially as it’s owned by H&M’s parent company, but I just wait for the sales! My favorite item from them at the moment are these navy, cotton trousers with the perfect barrel-leg shape. I can’t get enough of these and wish I had them in multiple colors and fabrics.
