Cocokind earns mixed-to-positive reviews: the brand delivers gentle, non-irritating formulas that suit sensitive, acne‑prone skin—standouts include the Ceramide Barrier Serum, Oil to Milk Cleanser, Revitalizing Eye Cream, and mineral/“silk” SPFs—yet several reviewers report modest results and occasional pilling, white cast, odd scents, or textures. Reviews of Cocokind also praise its transparency, clean ingredients, and sustainability focus, while noting inconsistent efficacy across products and complaints about jar packaging, cracked lids, and some formulas feeling greasy or leaving residue.
AI summary based on Thingtesting reviews
I have the cocokind mymatcha stick and the sea kale face mask. I use the stick as lip balm typically, but sometimes I'll use it under my eyes or on particularly dry areas on my face or hands. I love that it's a multipurpose product. Bonus that it smells great too. The sea kale mask smells a little...well like the ocean I guess. Which can be good or bad depending on your perspective. The smell fades away after a minute or so and it really calms my skin, especially if it's quite irritated.

I think I'd prefer the mask to be in a jar versus the squeeze container, it gets a little messy trying to close it before applying to my face. But overall, I'm quite happy.
I loved the sunscreen I used from Cocokind. It was silky and laid nicely on the skin. It also was great coverage and gentle on my sensitive skin.
love this brands aesthetic & their products. love that their money is poured into their packaging & also quality of the product

I really appreciate the brand transparency associated with Cocokind. They’re really open with their product testing and formulation projects and I love and support them! Always get them from manifest supply
love that these products are clean, transparency with the ingredients, and obviously, they do no animal testing.
I am a cocokind STAN and have been from the beginning. I've tried pretty much every single product they have. My holy grails: - MyMatcha moisture stick - I have multiple, it's my lip balm. One for my purse. One in the bathroom. One at my desk. One in my nightstand. I can't LIVE without it and I never want to. - Resurrection Peptide Cream - I have dry skin and this is so creamy and soft for my face, not sticky at all. My favorite of the newer products. Great in the winter. I do wish it came in a travel size. - Rosewater Toner - I used this day and night always. - Ceramide Barrier Serum - Also use this day and night always. Helps keep my skin soft and calm. - Oil to Milk Cleanser - Feels SO good. At first it feels like you didn't wash it all off but then you remember that other cleansers strip your skin and this is what it's actually supposed to feel like. Super moisturizing. - Turmeric Illuminating Solution - My exfoliator of choice for skin cycling. My skin feels soft and smooth after! Other opinions: - Silk SPF - Feels great on my skin and doesn't leave a white cast. I only use this when I'm not wearing makeup because it tends to pill. - Texture Smoothing Cream - I do really like this but I prefer the RPC for my skin type (dry). It is nice for a lighter option in the summer. And I do like that there are travel sizes of this. - Daily SPF - Leaves a white cast. It's good, just not for me. - Vitamin C serum - I don't see a huge difference with this and am experimenting with other products, but I know lots of people like it - Sake Body Lotion - I liked this but it's just an unscented lotion. I buy another cheaper product. - Scrubbing Clay - Just not a product I tend to use regularly, but it feels & smells good! - Chia oil - I've repurchased this several times but now I only do when there's a sale because I buy it cheaper from The Ordinary - Resurfacing Sleep Mask - I didn't see a noticeable difference so I found myself not using it much - Sea Moss Exfoliator - I prefer chemical exfoliators now but I did enjoy using this when it fit into my routine - Chlorophyll Mask - I purchased this a lot in the beginning and loved it but I don't find myself doing masks much anymore and don't know how to fit it in my routine I've also tried the Raspberry Vinegar Toner, the Turmeric Stick, Oil Cleanser, but don't feel like I can have the right opinion on them as they don't seem to be for my skin type (dry & not acne-prone). Their customer service is amazing and helpful. Their social media is heavy on product education which I LOVE. It can be hard to figure out where things go in my skincare routine and they always have infographics showing you exactly where their products go. The founder is super transparent especially about pricing, which is very much appreciated. The website tells you exactly how to recycle the packaging! They are becoming more available in stores so they're very easy to find at Target, Whole Foods, Ulta & my local co-op when I need something last-minute. I clearly, seriously love this brand & everything they do and I recommend them to everyone I know!!!
I've tried the cocokind ceramide barrier serum. I love the way it feels on my skin and have noticed a big difference in the overall healthiness of my skin since I've started using it in the past few weeks.

I absolutely love Cocokind! I have tried their aha jelly cleanser, probiotic acne serum (not the postbiotic one yet), vitamin c serum, ceramide barrier serum, texture smoothing cream, and their silk spf. I use their vitamin c serum, ceramide barrier serum, and their silk spf every day and have had noticeable improvements to my skin with the first two. I especially love the ceramide barrier serum as I had very unbalanced skin with some dry regions before using this product and now have an even skin type afterwards. The reason I took a star off though is because not all of their products worked for me. I don't expect every product to be perfect but it does seem to be a bit of a personal hit or miss when trying out new products. Their aha jelly cleanser did not work with my skin type (experienced irritation and redness) and left a bit of a residue. The texture smoothing cream may have worked but I did not use it long enough to see as I was not a fan of the strong celery smell. Lastly, the probiotic acne serum actually made me break out even more--especially on my forehead--so I stopped using it. I do know they recently changed its formula so it may work better now. Despite this, I do really love how Cocokind brings conscious skincare to people at a fairly affordable price and I will continue to cherish their ceramide barrier serum and vitamin c serum.

I have had some minor issues with a few of their products but have found a few amazing ones. This brand can be a hit or a miss with some people but the products that do work for me work really well.
Cocokind products are available within store at Target which was how I was able to try their matcha moisture skin which has been a holy grail of mine during the winter considering my dry skin. I have yet to try any of their other products but have repurchased the matcha stick and absolutely love it. It may be too thick/greasy feeling for those without dry skin but their other products may be worth a try instead.

I have tried a few items from cocokind and have been impressed with all of them. My favorite items are the daily spf and ceramide barrier serum. The daily spf leaves a nice finish that is good for under makeup. I think these are great for the price point. The packaging looks good and feels expensive (especially their jars). I definitely have my eye on the texture smoothing cream as we get closer to winter. I like that it is available in stores that I frequently go to and I do not have to go out of my way to find it.
I LOVE their facial cleansing oil to remove my makeup at the end of the day and it is perfect for gently removing mascara! Their oil to milk cleanser is also good in a pinch but I definitely prefer the cleansing oil.

Please bring the facial cleansing oil back to Target stores!

Cocokind is easily my favorite skincare line, probably of all time. It's affordable, clean, transparent, and eco-friendly. Their products are high quality and gentle, great for sensitive skin. They openly share product and sustainability information and actively strive to be better. I have been a customer for years and they have taken over most of my skincare routine. Some favorites include the oil to milk cleanser, eye cream, ceramide barrier serum, and the chia bounce mask.

I would love to see them get into makeup as well! They used to sell these glowy bronzer and highlighter sticks which are incredible. I still have one of each and will be so sad when I run out. Would love to seem them move into the makeup space as I think they could become a huge player there as well.
I love Cocokind, I swear by the rosewater toner. I am currently using the double cleaning kit and feel like it's nice and clean without stripping. I think i personally like a cleansing balm better but this is getting the job done.

No complaints I love this brand!
Love how affordable and innovative the ingredients list is for this skincare. The fact that anyone can access it at their local Target is such a plus.

I’ve had some quality issues with their products. Droppers that didn’t work out of the box, masks that had separated before I had the chance to use it.
I really want to like this brand, but so far I have been relatively unimpressed with the products. I've tried 3 things (cleanser, moisturizer, and green mask) and all them were just fine. I haven't written them off completely, but it's not my first pick.

Product effectiveness. They feel on par with drug store products that I used as a teen and possibly more eco-friendly.
Some hit or miss with skincare but overall it's a fair-priced brand! I love their turmeric stick for dark acne spots. I gravitate towards K-beauty but within American skincare brands, cocokind is pretty good.
I've used a few of their products that I bought at whole foods. Nothing stands out.
I love their mission and the thought behind each product. Their products are all reasonably priced and affordable. I really enjoyed the ceramide barrier serum because it helped to restore my skin’s barrier.
A friend recently recommended this brand to me. While I love Youth to the People, a whole routine by them can be a little pricey. She said this was a comparable but more budget friendly alternative. I purchased their resurface + revive duo, vitamin c serum and daily SPF. I have liked all four products so far. The SPF blends in easily which is nice and the eye cream goes on smooth.
