Clean Cult Reviews

4.2

Clean Cult earns mixed reviews: the cleaners, laundry sheets, and dishwasher pods generally perform well and deliver fresh, sometimes light scents, but recurring dispenser and bottle design flaws frustrate users. Reviews praise eco-friendly, refillable packaging and effective, skin‑friendly formulas, while noting overly strong fragrances for some scents (e.g., Wild Lavender, Juniper Sandalwood) and leaky, sticky “forever” bottles and laundry dispensers that undermine the experience.

  • I picked up all four scents — Fresh Linen, Free & Clear, Wild Lavender, and Juniper Sandalwood — through a promotion on a local news channel. Fresh Linen and Free & Clear are my favorites. Wild Lavender and Juniper Sandalwood are both a bit too strong for my taste, so if you're sensitive to scent I'd start with the lighter options. I'm a convert to laundry sheets in general — no measuring, no dripping, no giant plastic bottle taking up space. You just toss in and you're done. Much cleaner experience all around. For scent comparison, Clean People's Fresh & Clean is noticeably lighter and more subtle. Clean Cult runs stronger across the board, so keep that in mind if you prefer something understated. One personal tip — I use a little more than the recommended sheet amount to get a light, lasting scent on my clothes. Works perfectly.

  • I’ve been really impressed with Clean Cult. The products clean effectively while using safer, more thoughtful ingredients, which is so important to me. I love that the packaging is refillable and eco-friendly, it feels good knowing I’m reducing waste with each use. The scents are fresh and not overpowering, and everything from the dish soap to the all-purpose cleaner works exactly how I need it to. Clean Cult has made it easy to switch to a cleaner, healthier home without sacrificing performance.

  • I've tried almost every product from this company, and I've liked every one that I've tried. I've tried both their liquid laundry detergent and their detergent sheets. I like both, but I prefer the sheets because they are overall less messy. Their hand soap is nice as well, but the container does become sticky and gross. I found that both the reusable glass pump and the aluminum bottles themselves get sticky. The dish detergent and all-purpose cleaner work well from my experience as well. I really like that all the scents from this brand smell nice and are not overpowering at all. This is a brand I'd like to buy more from because they really emphasize cutting down plastic waste. I don't think they are perfect, but they are a decent, low-cost option available.

  • Tried their lemon verbena scented hand soap and really love it. The smell is not overpowering, really fresh and clean smelling. It’s really cool that they provide the ‘forever’ bottle with their hand soap too - have been refilling it over and over.
