  • Really loved using this olive oil. Great taste and I could tell it’s good quality (I really know my EVOOs :)).

    Feedback

Didn’t have a strong flavour profile like my favourite Moroccan olive oil but that’s personal preference.

What is Citizens of Soil?

Citizens of Soil makes early harvest extra virgin olive oils delivered in subscription pouches and refillable bottles.

In their own words

This ain't your generic, lifeless mass-market olive oil. This is extra virgin olive oil with terroir, delivered in reusable bottles with subscription refill pouches. Our early harvest Greek extra virgin olive oil represents its unique hillside location in Crete, but more importantly—the people that produce it. Packed with polyphenols, it's fresh and flavourful, with notes of green grass, artichoke, avocado, and a slightly peppery finish. Transparency is at the heart of our brand. We pay our farmers well above the market rate and one percent of every sale goes toward environmental NGOs as part of our membership in 1% for the Planet. This is all backed up by the Provenance.org blockchain platform.
