Cabi makes easy-to-use Japanese flavors for at-home cooks. 

Cabi started because we wanted to share the beauty and ease of Japanese home cooking. 

We believe that food is a universal language that is the greatest show of love and it can evolve when shared with multiple cultures yet always unique to its own origin. We commit to quality by creating our flavors with specialized partners in Japan who have been perfecting their traditional technique for over 100+ years. 

And you know, we’ve heard it a thousand times before: “we really want to cook Japanese food, but what the hell is Mirin? And what does Dashi look like? How many types of miso are there?”. Cabi is here to teach you all about that.

Japanese home cooking and its far-dating recipes have been perceived as out-of-reach and intimidating for someone who didn’t grow up with Japanese culture, while oversimplified products can lack an authenticity and the flavor-complexity you really crave.

So we gave it our go. In our pantry, we start with 3 products that we believe are essential to beginning your Japanese cooking journey – your bridge into a world obscured by unfamiliarity, but with a twist and our own flair. It’s all you need to begin.

Cabi has been carefully developed with a sense of ease and versatility in mind, allowing you to love and incorporate these Japanese flavors into your own cooking, on your own terms, always authentic. We like to say: cooking not required, only if desired. We are here to support all adventures in the kitchen.

I received a Cabi set from a friend and I LOVE the sauces, especially the miso one. They're very tasty and well balanced, and work well with every meal I've incorporated them in. Great gift for any cook :) Only sad that the bottles are small, so it goes fast. 

light and clean flavors. like other have mentioned, it's expensive for the quantity you get.

Found this brand at a local shop and decided to try their soy sauce - AMAZING. Best store bought soy sauce I have tried (I do also love David Chang's Momofuku line).

Delicious condiments. Love the brand and all 3 products go with basically any recipe. The yuzu sauce is goated though. That's a must in every pantry. 

This trio is delicious and addicting! Love the packaging and how easy I can use them in everyday cooking. 

My favorite is Yuzu Vinegar but the Miso has a unique flavor I haven’t tasted elsewhere. Just add to any protein and the seasoning is done. 

The packaging is very cute as well that I think I’ll be gifting some this holiday season. 

The bottles are REALLY small, especially for the price. I feel like I can't really use this with the abandon that I'd like, and I am generally not a spendthrift. I would have given this 5 stars if the bottles had been at least 50% bigger. 

Absolutely delicious. We are big fans of Japanese foods and use many Japanese ingredients and condiments. This really stands out. We will absolutely re-order. 

I would love larger bottles of all the SKUs! Everything is so good I need more in my life

My god is this stuff delicous, especially the zesty sansho miso. It’s super good on chicken Katsu, tofu, and so many other dishes

Cabi is such a welcome addition to our pantry. 
The Zesty Sansho Peppercorn Miso is like nothing I've ever had in stock at home, and has been a go to squeeze for me. It's super yummy on blackened green beans with rice. I'm not a great cook otherwise I'd have more adventurous suggestions :D

It would be great to have more sizes available as they can be pretty tiny if you regularly use them in the kitchen!

I am obsessed with this sauce brand as the packaging is so cool and the flavors are unparalleled, I can't go back to regular soy sauce now and the Zesty Sansho Peppercorn Miso is a must on chicken + dumplings. Plus the female founders behind Cabi couldn't be sweeter and nice humans, an overall great brand to support!

Most nights, I don't have a ton of time to cook. Cabi makes it easy for me to brighten up my quick go to recipes on busy days, like stir fries or steamed fish & veggies or grain bowls.
