  • Smooth-gliding beeswax lip balms

  • Gentle, effective baby formulations
  • Well-pigmented makeup colors
  • Short-lasting lip hydration
  • Inconsistent flavored balm formulas
  • Occasionally drying lip effects

Burt’s Bees earns mixed-to-positive reviews: its iconic beeswax and peppermint lip balms feel smooth, smell great, and often soothe and refresh, but many users find them under-hydrating with short wear that requires frequent reapplication. Reviews also praise gentle baby items, cuticle balm, foot creams, and select skincare and tints, while calling out inconsistent formulas across flavored/tinted balms, occasionally drying effects, an ineffective dog shampoo, and one alarming complaint about toothpaste causing black stains.

  • Have had a Burt's bees lip balm, always! I have severely chapped lips during winter and it keeps it moisturised but doesn't do miracles. I believe there are better targeted products for lip care now, so will continue to use this on and off.

  • The chapstick is alright. It's not thick, it's not greasy, it goes on smoothly, easily, and is lightweight. The variety of flavors is nice, I believe there's something for everyone! I don't feel like the chapstick stays on very long, nor do I feel like it moisturizes deeply. It feels, to me, that it sits on my lips until I eat or drink something and it comes right off. I personally prefer chapstick that's a little thicker and has more staying power. I don't like having to reapply chapstick frequently, so for this to be effective for me I'm constantly reapplying.

  • Anything Burt’ Bees is never safe in my house with 3 girls. Tinted chapstick great for tweens. We love all of the products , especially the blemish stick. Will continue to purchase.

  • I love Burt's Bees!! Way more natural than conventional products. I love that they are sold in so many places now!!!

  • currently obsessed with the blueberry lip balm

  • Burt's Bees chapsticks are so good! I love all of their flavors but my absolute favorite is the Coconut & Pear chapstick!!

  • I would consider myself a lip balm addict. If I leave the house without one I'm either going back home or buying another one. That being said I've received many Burt's Bees chapsticks as gifts and they all make my lips drier. Very unfortunate because they smell amazing but they don't work at all.

  • I’ve loved Burt’s Bees for decades now. I even used to sell them when I owned a store. It started with the baby oil and then on from there. Luxurious lip balms (love pomegranate!), gentle and very effective baby items, natural adult skincare, makeup items that are well pigmented with beautiful colors (Fig and Peony are faves) and more. They even have a pet line now that smells divine and works like it should. My top favorite to both use and sell is the baby diaper cream. If you or your little one have a rash and Burt’s Bees diaper rash cream can’t sort it out, you need to see a doctor because that cream can seriously calm everything. The essential oils and zinc are a beautiful thing and despite the zinc content, it is easily washed off when you want to but sticks well when you don’t. Burt’s Bees is available everywhere in the USA but it’s not just whatever on a shelf. I highly recommend giving their products a try. All of them.

  • Love the classic peppermint lipbalm - my go to in winter. But the lip tints are equally good - the tints are just the amount of pigment and it tastes really good!

  • I bought a gift set with 4 flavours last Christmas. I loved all the flavours and they lasted a long time considering they were getting multiple uses daily.

  • Me and my family swear by Burt's. I'm not a fan of the original or peppermint or mint but that really goes with any product so. My favorite is the watermelon by far. Flavored ones are a slightly different formula and come off easier but I always notice a difference soon after putting it on. It's worth it to me.

  • My go-to for the winter. Only lip balm I use. Soothes after picking at my lips all day too.

  • I tried the lip balm and it feels amazing!

  • Every winter, we stock up on the chapstick. Couldn’t handle winter with out Burt’s.
