I purchased some Beautycounter products after a friend of mine had a Beautycounter spa night party. The consultant we had was very sweet so I didn't mind as much as I normally would to pay the prices for the items I chose, but honestly, they were rather overpriced. I will say that I absolutely love the grapefruit shampoo. Grapefruit is my favorite scent and this shampoo had a nice subtle grapefruit smell and it leaves my hair soft and shiny.
I have tried a ton of their products and I love them! Love the mission, EWG certified and woman-owned. The skincare is amazing! I am obsessed with their acne line of products. The vitamin C serum is my favorite!

I paid 12.95 for 2 day shipping. Beautycounter took 2 days to send my order and a week later it has not arrived. The product is not that large and does not last. You need to use alot of it for it to have color on the lips. The owners are not honest as they sent me an email saying my package would be here tomorrow. The tracking number says otherwise and it is still not here. Expected Wednesday, not tomorrow. Just aggravating.

Offer free shipping and do not offer 2 day or expedited shipping when it takes days for it to be sent and then not send 2 day shipping as it should have arrived even with the delay. Provide a larger product so customers get good value for the product.

I was introduced to beauty counter by a friend who is also a brand ambassador. As a nurse I was having bad skin breakouts from wearing masks for an entire 12 hour shift, and wasn’t finding any products that helped. In fact, I had allergic reactions to many products - including a face cleansing wipe from Whole Foods 365 brand. At first glance I loved that this company was fighting for clean beauty, but I was intimated by the pricing. I signed up for. Membership ($29) and got 20% off my first purchase, 10% credit back to my account on any product I bought for the next year, free shipping over $100, and many free products. Needless to say, it was worth the money. I use my countercontrol pore cleanser every day and it’s so refreshing. I’m obsessed (to say the least) with the overnight resurfacing peel. The mascara is the best I’ve ever used - however it’s difficult to get off. Solution: buy the mascara with the instant eye makeup remover as a set - you save money buying them together AND the mascara comes off easily in seconds!! When I stick with my BC skin care routine, my boyfriend describes my face as “fresh” and “glowing”. BC makes great gifts as well, especially around the holidays. I have used many products from BC and just placed another order to try the new hyaluronic lip balm and (all bright C serum, a $90 value which was free because I spent $125).

Have Lauren Mika as your brand ambassador. She is so helpful and responsive! I bought the deodorant and the refill, and for some reason the refill wouldn’t fit into the original cartridge and they sent me a brand new deodorant immediately free of charge. They have a store in NYC on prince street as well.
