Bala earns strong reviews for sleek, durable workout accessories that make low‑impact routines and daily walks more effective and more fun, but the brand divides opinion on comfort and performance at higher intensities. Reviews praise the Bangles, Bars, and Power Ring for aesthetic design, easy travel/storage, and motivating versatility, while citing limited weight ranges, velcro-related discomfort/fit issues, and occasional sliding or chafing—especially on ankles—as notable drawbacks.

Absolutely love my bala bands. Good quality, find myself actually using them, easy to put on, cute too.
I borrowed a friend's Bala bands for a run recently. No friction or rubbing like other bands I've used and it also looks kinda cool when you're wearing them!
I liked it so much I bought the two and three pound weights. I am really into the soft touch material.

The elastic on the wristbands could be tigher on my small wrist.
I am obsessed with my Bala bangles, every time there's a sale I buy more and they're great to give as gifts. I wear the 2lb ones on my ankles and the 1lb ones on my wrists while hiking; and also sometimes wear them while running errands, daily walks etc - even around the house. People ask about them all the time; and they're really easy to store in the pouch. Plus - it's so pretty! Can't wait to buy some of their other stuff.

More colors of the 2lb bangles please!
I received a starter pack of Bala pieces as a gift that includes the bangles, a 10lb power ring, and 3lb bala bars and I absolutely love the set. They are definitely not meant for heavy lifting, muscle building workouts, but they are a great addition to pilates or barre style at-home workouts. All of bala's pieces are so beautiful and they make me excited to add some extra resistance to my workouts. However, they are really expensive pieces for how low weight they are, and you can definitely find less expensive alternatives if you're willing to sacrifice the aesthetic and brand name. I don't know if I would shell out the money on these myself, so I'm really glad I got them as a gift.

I use the bangles in all of my heated yoga sculpt classes and they are great. Great quality and really help me level up any workout. I also have the hand weights and the bar and they are awesome. Highly recommend!!

I have some of their weights, but I got them on sale at TJMaxx. They're very well designed but I would never pay full price for them.

LOVE! Such a fun and chic way to step up a workout.
super expensive for what its worth. i was able to snatch up some 'dumbbells' at marshalls once for $13 cause the box was damaged. i had no clue about this brand but i liked how simple and minimal they looked, and did the job. its good quality (for the dumbbells at least), but i have some other brand's ankle weights that can go up to 10 lbs each (customizable by 2 lb intervals) and i bought the pair for like $20, when bala ankle weights are like $50+ and only go up to 2 lbs each.. and im not even sure if you can toggle between the weight either. great look, but crazy prices
Bala bands are so soft and comfortable to wear to add an extra difficulty level to my standard workouts. I have purchased these for friends as gifts and they all report that they are great.

I wish they came in more weight sizes. They can also slip off during more high-intensity workouts.
These products are a favorite among fitness junkies for a reason! I've had my bala bangles for years, and they are great to use for walks and incoporate into low-impact workouts. I also find that they are fairly easy to wipe down and clean. I've gifted them on multiple ocassions.
I now own the 1lb and 2lb Bala Bangles and am obsessed with the simple design. Investing in these products has improved my pilates sequences.
Love wearing my bala bangles, they’re extremely chic and easy to put on while running errands.

love the wrist weights.

Sleek when not in use, but when the 2lb bangles are worn on the ankles, the weights end up wonkily spread out.
Great look, but not comfortable at all! They only work for really low intensity moves.
Great for your at home gym. products that look good and feel good to hold

seems wrong (cost wise, labor wise, fuel wise) to get straight up weights shipped/delivered. Maybe offer a pickup option, at least in cities?
I love how these look, unfortunately I find them to be a bit itchy on my ankles, but they work perfect on my wrists. Wash them regularly to avoid scent buildup.
Micro-weighting levels up workouts without you even knowing it. Love the sleek design, variety of colors and versatility in use. Pilates, walks - on ankles or wrists! Easy to pack and effective.

Different sizing options for smaller wrists/ankles - sometimes I feel like they are sliding around and I can't get them tight enough
