  • If i could give zero rating I would. these people are idiots with outsourced customer service. We ordered at the start of June and 2 weeks later still had not recieved anything. When we asked about it we were told to wait. We waited and a number of days later they say they are trying to deliver and rang a number in Auckland with no reply. I google the number as its in Auckland and we don't live in Auckland... it was their physical store! Like wtf.... I am so over it and am demanding a refund. Don't bother with them, they are useless.

  • Booked an appointment for my teenage son to have eye exam at Bailey Nelson Queen East in Toronto. After the exam yesterday the doctor did not want to speak with me. I actually tried to speak with her. I thought that was odd. The manager of the store relayed the message that my son could benefit from Blue Light glasses. We then went through the process of selecting those. Fast forward to this afternoon. The store manager calls, leaves a voicemail, telling me that they have made a referral and that my 15 year old knows about it. He didn’t. I call back and ask what’s up. I’m told that the doctor, in an abundance of caution, is concerned enough to refer my son to another level of clinic to assess the issue that he brought to their attention. The manager called because she felt the doctor behaved oddly by not speaking to me. While I’m happy for the referral, I am a bit disappointed that, between the doctor and the store manager, I was expected to hear of the doctor’s concern via a teenage boy. Anyway, all of this is to say you may want to consider a different shop. In my experience optometrists elsewhere do actually speak with parents of kids about what is necessary to keep the kids healthy. This place sort of does that, though you may have to wait 24 hours and hope that the manager comes to feel a bit off about the doctor to the point of calling to let you know herself.

  • I have visited Bailey Nelson stores in the UK and Australia. I purchased the Adler Half Windsor style from the Covent Garden store in London, and they work as a perfect style for days when I don't feel like wearing my heavy/thicker frames. They are very light and comfortable. Years later I visited an Australian store for an eye exam, and they replaced my nose pads for free. Service has always been wonderful and very friendly.

  • Kind of surprised by all the positive reviews. Bailey Nelson is fine if you're looking for a cheap option, but you get what you pay for on this one. My lenses scratched so easily. The nose pad came off within a couple months. I wasn't overly thrilled. Customer service is lovely though and I continue to use them for online contact lens orders.
